Misleading how? Rojo gave a good breakdown of 1 common opponent both teams have faced, and that's Iowa St. We both faced that team within 2 weeks of each other, so it's not like Missouri met up with Iowa St at the begining of the season and we met up with them at the end of the season. And had our defense not got 3 tunovers against Wake, or Ickes blocked the field goal against Pitts, we would be 3-3..what's your point? It' doesn't matter if ISU gave up turnovers, what matters is how Misosuri came back and scored on those TD's. Period. Plain and simple. End of story. One other thing....the sacks don't show up in the pass defense numbers....if they did the Huskers pass defense numbers would look much, much better.....keep in mind this is not baseball .....the numbers don't always show whats goin on the field

How so? I look at the numbers and then watch the games.... To me the Huskers will force Missouri into 3rd and long all day...thats a bad situation......They don't run the ball very well, and it's worse since they got into the big12 schedule......They have score 15 rush td's we have aloowed only 2. The Tigers have posted a potent offense untill you peal the onion and look were the bulk of their numbers have come from....Arkansas State, Okie State and so on and on......They will hit a brick wall saturday Now if you compare our offense agin thier defense and you look at what we have done agin Big12 opponents and what we did non-con you can see that we are stepping up each week with better numbers....Missouri can't do that......The huskers are becoming more consistant and their numbers are showing it....we have an edge in the passing game....and a huge edge in the rushing dept. if you compare Big12 numbers. Lets face it guys....The Huskers have played as tuff a schedule as Missouri so far in the big 12 ....we have the same record....both clubs have lost a home game....but that is where the similarities end....the Husker defense is stout and proven.....the Tigers Defense is a piece of sh#t We have better place kickers and punters...our team speed and coverage has been excellent...we get nice contributions on the return game as well Still think the Tigers are scary?

I know you meant Chase Coffman, so i will let it slide. You are wrong. I would trade Chase for J.B Phillips and Sievers combined any day of the week and twice on sunday. I would not even consider trading for Kaufmann(don't let it slide...go royals) ,any kid who would attend the U of Misery has some serious emotional baggage....what have they won...and when did they win it........Where are the conference titles...National Championships....where Kauffman took a look at that mess and said yes....not just yes, but HELL YEAH......that don't sound to smart to me...sounds like a kid who wanted playing time and he was scared to come to a big time school....most of those guys never make it to the games on sunday....... Guys....I will be at my usual tailgate this next weekend...And Guess what....the BIG RED IS COMIN TO TOWN....I love to goto any football game and the Tigers are a decent excuse to hang out with my buds and crush some beers, I wear black and gold to keep them happy until The Mother Ship comes to town and then it is dead red and my dog named Fred........ I will be located at the corner of Stewart and Providence Road.....It is the University Power Plant parking lot......Stop by and have a cold one I will also be able to locate General Admission Tickets if I get a day or two notice to round them up $15 or $20.....I don't know yet......but they will sell tickets here untill the fire marshall says no....c'mon down fella and lets turn the B****** red Huskers....31 Tigers......13 Should have good parking and ride to front of Stadium ...I will be there around 5 AM

The word 'round here is concussion...also, Pinkle is dying to start Chase Daniels.The kid is pretty decent, but I think they lose alot of the run/pass option in the offense....mostly the run. The Tiger scored on some really cheap TD's very early and should have lost......ISU ate up the clock and the tiger defense in the first half and most of the 3rd quarter. The Huskers should get a lead and then run the ball into the ground....this one won't be pretty but I like our Defense and Special teams making a huge difference in this one...The Tigers are not very good and we should push them around I just think this team is getting better with every snap...I thought Baylor has a decent defense and we were able to use our depth to push them around....Grind them down and get a win.. I have seen players come back and play the next week after a concussion, so i wouldn't bank on Smith being out next week. Pinkle knows that he is on the hot seat and if he doesn't make a bowl game this year, he is out. I don't see Pinkle sitting Smith out unless the doctor doesn't clear him for some reason I hope Smith Plays....Daniels runs the team better....I don't know why, but he seem to be a better leader.

Well........Teams are dropping like fly in the top ten....we are not outta the Rose Bowl yet....we need to keep on grinding We win out and take the Big12 Title.....we are in the Granddady of them ALL!!!!!!!

well I sat thru the Tigers/Clones match-up, Huskers should have a decent shot to win the game and move to 6-1 The Big Red O-line should have it's way with Mizzou's rather thin defense...I like Ross and Glenn as well as Lucky to eat up alot of ground as well as the clock in this one....Brad Smith went down so we should see the freshman Qb. The Tigers a will not be able to run the ball and their lack of a bigtime WR will means that we can sit in the box and shut them down.. The Tiger got two cheap score from their Defense early in the game....then ISU went to work...and I mean they worked over Mizzou's defense....Ran the ball all day.ISU was the better team....that's sad Huskers.....31 Mizzou.......13
