IMO losing Swift really hurts, but Niles Paul is a stud, he will step up & take his place. Peterson is a solid possession receiver, & I see Menelik Holt taking that role next year. Also, Khiry Cooper is going to be good & I'm betting we land Brandon Kinnie if we want him, he will be able to step in immediately.

Do we? With Roy and Q being Soph's, and Mendoza being a RFr, we have a lot of young talent at running back. He wouldn't become the main back until his junior year, granted that Roy and Q stay for their senior seasons. I want Giles to become a Husker just as much as everyone else, as he is an electrifying playmaker that could really help our offense, but I wouldn't be discouraged one bit if we didn't land a "big-time" running back commit in this class. I think that next year is the year where we land at least 1 "big time" RB. Just my 2 cents. Yes we need Jarvis Giles IMO. Landing him would be huge

I like our chances if he's visiting for the Colorado game. This guy is going to be a stud & he's the best RB that we've had legit shot at all year IMO.

I think the main reason we're not pulling in as good of a recruiting class as fans would like (minus Green, Williams & a few others) is that this year we're coming off a 5-7 season & we just fired our head coach. If we beat Colorado (no reason we shouldnt) & have a good showing in our bowl game, recruits will see that we're a program headed in the right direction & we'll have more success pulling in recruits next year. That said, this is not a very big loss IMO

I like some things about our offense. Helu is a good back, Ganz is a damn good quarterback. I love how we play ball control. IMO Watson called a much better game this week than he did against Kansas. I just think its too much to be comparing this years offense to the offenses we had in the 90s.

I totally disagree with you on that one. We scored 17 points against Missouri (10 really, the last second TD didnt really matter). The '97 Huskers would've lit up that defense.

No way an 11-1 USC team doesnt get an at large bid, even if they dont win their conference. Personally, I'd love for Oregon State to win the Pac 10 so Ohio State has to settle for a mid major bowl
