  1. I'm sure you Husker fans all think you deserved to play in the 2001 National Championship??? Same sh#t... different year.
  2. considering that I logged close to 25,000 votes for T.O. last night, I say this is bullsh#t.
  3. Maybe if Chase Daniel wouldn't have thrown a temper tantrum last night when they were getting whipped by OU the Orange Bowl would of selected them instead. Rock Chalk Hawks!!!
  4. Make sure it says TAG POS=4 for the first tag pos think in the macro
  5. Where can we get these macros~! He's behind by 1%. GO BIG RED!!!!! iMacros for Firefox... you can record the actions you take to do the voting and then loop it forever. Here is my macro: VERSION BUILD=6011201 RECORDER=FX TAB T=1 URL GOTO=http://proxy.espn.go.com/espn/specialsection/citirosebowl/2007/ TAG POS=4 TYPE=INPUT:RADIO FORM=NAME:citi ATTR=NAME:vote TAG POS=1 TYPE=INPUT:IMAGE FORM=NAME:citi That is the macro I'm using to vote. I don't know if you need cookies disabled or not, I've got mine disabled right now.
  6. It's called trying to help out Husker Nation... and I'm not wasting my time, I've got macros automatically running on three different PC's. Takes me one click to start them, and then I leave my computer for the rest of the day.
  7. I think there is a bug in the website... I don't think TO's votes are getting counted toward him, I voted for him nearly 5000 times in the past day and his percentage didn't rise at all.
  8. Somebody who followed my original instructions for the macro is still running it and voiting for eddie robinson. If this keeps up we're going to sabotage TO.
  9. I didn't run it last night, my connection got dodgy and I couldn't run it without it timing out.
  10. Well I'm going to let it run on my home PC all night looping with 99999 as the max, was going to remote into my work pc and into the computer science network at UNL but I don't want to get in trouble for using bandwidth improperly or something. (Granted I could always talk myself out of any trouble by saying it was for TO). I will report my total number of TO votes tomorrow morning,
  11. Um, it hits the Tom Osborne button, if it didn't the Submit button wouldn't work. Try submitting without picking anyone, just goes to a blank page. And after my 500 votes it was still 41-36 If it doesn't select Tom for you, Edit the Macro and where it says TAG POS=# TYPE=INPUT:RADIO, put 4 in for the number if that's now what you have. I noticed some bugs in the recording.
  12. I'll help you husker fans out too, Firefox has a free extension called iMacros that will do this for you. Download and install that in your Firefox browser. Then it will be open on the sid of your browser. Go to the site and then Record whatever it is you want to do, after recording go to the Play tab and you can Play(Loop) as many times as you want. I tested this and it seems to work pretty well. And as always, Rock Chalk! Edit: I've had this running for less than an 30 minutes, and I'm up to 500 votes.
  13. I have a vivid memory Dr. Tom going for 2 against KU when he was up by some 30 points one year against KU.
  14. The guy is way too old to get offered a head coaching job.
  15. It's too bad for you that most of the "intangibles" on both Mizzou and Kansas will still be around next year.
  16. Way to misquote the man... what he said after the pause was "No (as in he can't say how much he loved this group), I don't know, a lot" and then took off.
  17. The problem was the further Sam threw the ball, the more his passes were off target. I think he knew this better than anyone, thus, hello Mr. Lucky. Plus a lot of his short slant passes to receivers wound up a step or two behind them and thus uncatchable. I don't think the problem was his passes had two much velocity. Todd Reesing throws some rockets and the 2 and 3 stars don't have any problem catching them so 4 and 5 stars shouldn't either. It could of been the fact that Sam was a dick and nobody wanted to play with him at quarterback, which I see as a pretty likely scenario. Look at the life the team has now with Mr. Ganz at QB. Before Ganz was taking the snaps the team looked like a bunch of zombies, looking at the fire and drive this team has now, I wouldn't have a doubt in my mind that they'd be sitting at 1 or 2 losses instead of 6.
  18. Article Very good read and well worth it, if Mark Mangino can do what he's done at KU, I have no doubt in my mind someone can come and here and mop up the Callahan mess for you guys.
  19. First, wavethewheat, you're a douche, granted it does feel good to win big against the years after years of shellackings givin' to us by good ole' Dr. Tom, but have some respect. Husker fans have been nothing but good to us, do the same to them. If it was Mizzou, I wouldn't have a problem with this, but respect our Husker brothers. Second, to the douche bringing up the Missouri Colorado score. Comparative scoring means jack sh#t in college football. Nothing, nada. Even if Kansas was 0-9 and Missouri was 9-0 right now, I'd still like Kansas' chances against Mizzou because it is a rivalry game, teams always show up for rivalry games, no matter how bad of a season they are having. You can not take comparitive scoring into account anywhere. Ex. OU gets beat by CU, OU beats MU, therefore CU beats MU. As you can see that didn't happen, so don't even try to say comparative scoring has any validity. As far as our D was concerned, Joe Ganz, besides his picks, played some lights out ball today. Maurice Purify was making Aqib Talib look like Courtney Grixby today. Mangino claims they weren't expecting so much passing today (which I can see, I mean starting a QB for the first time you "usually" cut back on the passing) so that might be some of the reason. The other difference is that Ganz actually throws the ball down the field, instead of Sam "Dump the Ball to Marlon" Keller. Ganz also looks like a leader out there, I don't care how the coaching situation ends up for you guys, whoever you end up with next year will be a lucky person to have this kid leading the offense. He's already got me worried about next year. Good luck the rest of the way Huskers, beat KSU and CU and we'll see you next year in Lincoln.
  20. The thing is though, KU beat and A&M team at Kyle Field that walked all over the Huskers at Memorial, KU beat a CU team that pulled off an upset against OU in the same venue. I know the non-conference schedule was pud, and I won't try to claim it wasn't, but they did what they were supposed to do and manhandled each one of those teams, could this Nebraska team do that (Ball St. anyone?). Also, the game is in Lawrence, Mangino coached teams always play better in Lawrence. I'm sorry, but I don't even see this game being close, at the beginning of the season I thought this game would decide the North, but Nebraska has failed to live up to my expectations and I honestly think that Texas finished this team off this past weekend, Nebraska was fighting with it's last gasping breath, and Texas put the gun to the Huskers head and finished them off. Although, I could be wrong, and Ganz does scare the piss out of me (I've been to every home Husker game, and personally, I thought Ganz should have been starting instead of wonder boy Keller), I'm hoping for a competitive game, so the trip down to Larryville is even more fun, but I just can't see this team rising up to pull of the upset, or even make this game competitive. My fiance, he started the year saying she was wearing red to the game (Husker Fan), had earlier in the season decided to wear blue with red underneath and then rip off the blue when the Husker's win, but now, she's not even bothering with the red and going all blue. Shows how much faith she has in this team. Good luck this weekend 'skers, if you enjoy one thing this weekend I think it's going to be the tailgating atmosphere in Lawrence.
  21. I recall a NU-KU game a few years back when Tommy O was coaching, I remember it being something like 70-0 and good ole' TO went for two. Maybe it wasn't quite 70-0, but I do remember it being nowhere near close.
  22. If I know my Husker brothers like I think I'd do, they'd like to see us walk all over CU. My pick: KU: 45 CU:21 Let's go Hawks!
  23. Who's packing their bags first, Fran or Callahan? Next week's game will tell us the answer.
  24. The Pinkel Factor is kicking in.
