Heading to the game next weekend. Leaving out late Thursday night. I know I-29 is closed outside of St. Joe, Mo. Does anyone know or have any ideas that will make travel easier? Thanks a bunch.

So I was eating at McDonalds for lunch today and Will Muschamp walks in. One of my relatives goes up to him and says "Do me a favor, I'm tired of losing just kick their ass." Muschamp responds "We'll get em." So this dosen't sit well with me. So I go home and change into my Martinez jersey and put on my best Husker cap. I go back to McDonalds and I walk right past Muschamp and he's stareing. My Uncle says really loud did you do that to make Muschamp mad? So now hes really staring at me. I leave before any verbal comments can be said to me. Basically I'm still pissed at the comments he made at our players after the Big 12 Championship game. Anyways I thought this was a funny story. Sound familiar?

by myself. Everyone else has gone. I think "Man, Im in the mood for some Chik-fil-a" and off I go. Its packed, people everywhere. I finally get a seat at a table for four, but im the only one sitting there. Just as I get my food ready this dude about my age (fourty something or another) say "Hey man, Can I sit here?" I look up and lo and behold this dude has on a longwhorns hat. I said sure and motioned for him to have a seat. He sits and I say "Whorn fan, huh?" he says "Yep, and it sucks to be in Arkansas right now, everyone is giving me grief." I say "Well, I can make things better for ya, your not sittin with an Arkansas fan you sitting with a HUSKER fan!" He just kind of laughs and says "Well, I figure that NU is fixin to hammer the sh$* out of Texas." We eneded up having a long conversation about college football and the direction our repsective programs are heading. He was really a nice guy, but says that most folks in Texas have written this one off and hope that they get out of Lincoln with some sort of pride left. I know anything can happen, I just thought it was interesting at the mindset that some of the fans have.

That does stink. I don't know why they don't start the games until 11:21 CST. You might get lucky and get the Iowa/Michigan game on ABC so you will be able to see the game on ESPN. I have called and bitched at our local station before. They just say ok and that they will look into it! LOL! We know where that goes!

The thing that sucks for us in SEC country is that the local ABC affiliates will show the SEC game of the week at 11:00, which means we will miss some of the NU/TX game!

I dont think he is "prick" at all. Hardnosed? Confident? Emotional? Yes,yes and yes. This doesnt make him a prick. It makes him human and so far it has made him a winner. He demands a lot and gives a lot in turn he gets a lot too. The people that seem to get ruffled over him are the ones that get ruffled anytime someone tells them the truth and is not politicallay correct.

The record is currently under investigation. It appears that someone said they were not at the game but actually arrived at that particular game during the post game warm ups. SO as of now noone is quite sure if the actual record is the actual record.

I can't help but think of Bo's quote from last week..... Somethinf to the effect of "I hope they change what they do! That will help us tremendously.

Hey did you guys hear that the sell out streak might be in jeopardy? Evidently they University has sold all the tickets, but because some guys who scalp tickets wont get all theirs sold and some elderly lady in Seward will have to stop and pee 100 times on the way to the game it will end the streak. Just looking for information and to see if you guys have heard this.

Looks like thats what I'll be getting too. I have no desire whatsoever to watch Bama put up 50 points on a hapless Duke while hearing the announcers slobber incessantly about the return of the Heisman winner. I bet thats what Ill get her in Arkansas too. Will the NU/UW game be the "mirror" game on ESPN here in the south? Where can I found out? Anyone know?

OK, so I am confused. Is the sell out streak still going or did it end? If it ended, did it end before I purchased my 300th sellout T-shirt? If it ended prior to me purchasing my 300th sell out shirt, can I get a refund due to the fact that it was not a sell out? If I can get a refund for my 300th sell out tshirt not really being a 300th sell out tshirt, do I get a reimbursement for the purchase price? Or, does the price fluxuate because of normal wear and tear? Or, do I get more money on the refund because the 300th sell out tshirt was sold to me under false pretenses? I just cant seem to get my head around the fact that even though ALL of the tickets were sold, there have actually been no sell outs. Does that sound like any one we know on here?

Really? We are still doing this? Does noone remember what the offense was like last year? Injuries, poor to horrible QB play, ditto for O-line play and silly penalties? Remember that? As a whole the offense looked better. Lets trust in the coached to make the best decisions to win. As far as being loyal to one player over another, loyalty getrs checked at the door when it comes to wins and losses!

When Pelini was hired, my Brother and I talked about this. We takled about what rational expectations we should have. They were pretty much the same. Win the North most years, win the Conference every couple of years (but be competitive yearly), and be in the NC hunt every few years. I dont think that is asking too much.

In no particular order; 1. Texass 2. The Whorns 3. Macks Bithces 4. The underachievers 5. That team with an orange cow on thier helments! Id root for BP before I would that bunch!

Thanks for posting. This may be a stoooopid question, but I have to ask. So, once the Huskers are in the Big 10 I will be able to see every football game here in Arkansas? You should get most if you have the Big 10 Network from your cable provider. The Big 10 network picks up every game not on abc, espn, etc. Those abc, espn games will more than not be regional so we'll have to wait and see for you on those. Thanks man. I do have the BTN so it should be good!
