  1. I get chills everytime I read/watch anything on the 95 team. Just wish I had been a little older to appreciate it more. I remember my dad telling me, "Enjoy this son, you probably won't see anything like this again."
  2. I suppose it could be, but it's in the Journal Star, you'd think it was legit. Really with the running back position so packed like it is and how little playing time Glenn has had in his career, it makes sense to me.
  3. I actually played soccer against him in High School, but it definitely wasn't his sport. I'm slow, probably 4.8, and I never let him use his speed against me. He was a pretty big prick, but most people are in the heat of competition. But hey wish he'd become a bigshot at the NFL so I could brag : ).
  4. That's because we offered. If Notre Dame and Michigan offer he will be 3 stars. That's how it works. If a guy gets a ton of offers from big schools he gets more stars. If he gets more stars, he gets more offers. Anyway, I doubt Lemming or Crabtree will ever get to West Point so we will have to trust TO on this one. of the 3 I know who I trust just watched his film on rivals....impressive Yeah, I completely agree. I don't know why everyone is so freaked out we are offering to this kid. He's huge and he was beating his entire kick coverage team down the field every time. I have a good feeling about this kid, if he plays LB or DE, he could be a monster. He looks decently quick and goes after the ball like a monster.
  5. Wow, I completely disagree. Jackson showed consistent tough running, Lucky definitely didn't. I think Lucky has a TON to prove this year and could dramatically improve his draft status earning him a huge signing bonus that couldn't be made back. Obviously there is always the risk of injury, but I think it's worth the risk to stick around and improve his running ability between the tackles. If he show's some grit in the running game and continues his prowess in the passing game then he will be extremely valuable next year. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I just don't see an NFL team getting very excited about a running back who can only catch the ball.
  6. Haha, Loving it Cy. Everything's fair game when we are speculating a whole 9 months before the next season begins. I'm sure this is the first of like 100 some threads that will address the same topic until then, beating a dead horse won't even be sufficient to describe it.
  7. I think your offensive back field is clearly the strength of this team next year, with or without Lucky. I think you will have an outstanding backfield either way. O-Line looks solid, and really had some success this year. The D-line was your big question mark going into last year, and unfortunately the answer wasn't very good. The entire defense will need a major overhaul. Those guys will have to quickly get over being shell shocked this season. Good luck next year. Agreed, the defense will have A LOT to prove this next year. All the guys listed will need to step up in a major way. I don't think anyone listed really impressed this year, especially the D-line. We'll see if Pelini can get these guys to play motivated, in the right positions to make plays, and prove we truely had talent on D in 07. I'm still tennative to assume a complete turn around with the defense, was Potter the only one with the "well I didn't really try very hard until I knew I would start" mentality. That kind of attitude isn't something I want on the team and isn't always something coaches can change.
  8. I still think he has a long LONG way to go as far as a rusher. There were several games were he ran to the line like a timid little girl. He needs ALOT of improvement on the ground IMO to get into the top 2 rounds. In the pro's you still have to be able to run between the tackles to be a feature back and Lucky has not proved nearly enough.
  9. Maybe by they changed the defense, he meant they graduated the whole defensive line that made him look so good. Without them it became obvious he was a joke.
  10. I'm perfectly content with how the current recruiting class shaping up. Our immediate needs are certainly on the defensive side of the football and the recruiting class seems to be catering to that. Still can't believe people think Lucky is going pro. He would be a total moron not to wait and try to improve his stock. He ran very timid most of the year, granted he did great with screen passes, he didn't prove that much to me between the tackles.
  11. Oops never mind, I know about the "gloves" the FU SP. So she has a mind of her own so what? I thought it was funny personally! Scott The FU SP thing. How many times have the people on this board felt the same way. I like to welcome Mrs. Pelini to the board, I think she would be a wonderful member with great things to say. Her FU SP was classic. FU SP? Please tell me what this is Baton Rouge is dying to know. Yeah, what the heck happened? I'm confused.
  12. True...I know for a fact that Zach Potter was a big time stoner b4 he got to college and his prep teammates were not sure if he would get his act together and put in work for the huskers. And he didn't. He was even interviewed saying he didn't really train or practice hard until Adam left.
  13. Yes, the certainly do owe you an apology. Death threats are not a solution to anything. Even money is just money, life will go on. The only way you wouldn't be owed an apology is if you intentionally lost them money, which I doubt. People just take things far to seriously.
  14. I wouldn't say we are the worst fans by any means, but I agree we are definately not the greatest. Yes, we aren't Colorado and throwing crap at opposing fans, but we still take this whole thing way to seriously. Unfortunately high school kid's are pricks, this is just bound to happen. Pretty sad...
  15. I love that you mentioned Will Shields. I wish we could get that guy here as an O-line coach. I mean a kid looking to be an amazing O-linemen would have to be a total moron not to want to play for Will Shields. He was presented yesterday at the KC vs Packers game that I went to, the man's presence just gives a husker fan the chills. 13 pro-bowls, was a back up for only half of one game and started every single game for the rest of his NFL career. PURE DOMINANCE! : )
  16. I had a bad feeling people would start to resort to this. Really sad people. How about all of us normal sane fans start kicking the sh#t out of people who pull this kind of bull crap? Seriously, be upset that we aren't good, but screaming at the players about how they suck? Jeese.
  17. Yeah, oposing fans could get ahold of this and spread it all over other boards. I don't blame the oposing fans, I blame the nebraska fans who decided to be stupid. Anyone pay any attention to what happened to tebow? Got thousands of calls including death threats with just a phone number, with an embarassing picture like this who knows how far they could go with it. With our luck this year the picture will end up on ESPN.
  18. Finally something from a credible source. Thanks for the post. Glad to finally read something other than "I heard from my brother or this guy I know, etc. "
