I graduated in May as well, and finally just got a job...its been rough. Where do you live in Wisconsin? I wound up here because of struggles trying to find a job as well. Someday I hope to return to the motherland. Hopefully soon. for now, it's NW Wisconsin for me. I don't live in Wisconsin anymore, but my parents still live in the home of Leinenkugel's, Chippewa Falls. So the same area...where are you at?

Does anyone else think the offense needs to be no huddle with Green running it, with Cooper, Brooks, Bell, and Gilleylan as WRs? I've seen enough of Holt, maybe Paul can come back in once he proves it again.

I think that is pretty obvious that its our offense that is terrible.

Students actually had to get a printed ticket this year, and I'm pretty sure they are assigned to a certain area. So I think you just came across some drunk d*ckheads, and that is too bad for you and your family.

I went with a C. Their record was around .500, which to me is average, which is what a C means. Lack of shooting was a problem. I'm glad Velander is gone, no more going to him to just shoot a three to miss badly and then complain about getting fouled. If you want a grasp of where Nebrasketball was going, look at Memphis right now...Roburt Sallie already has 17 of Memphis's 29 points. Pretty crappy that the Big XII screwed us over as he isn't a Husker.

And considering many prognosticators had us at 9th or worse, with the shortest team in the country, and finishing at 8-8 in conference is pretty damn good in my opinion. Plus, now that people are getting pissed that Nebrasketball isn't getting a bid is a step in the right direction. We overachieved this year...next year should be at least 10-6 or 11-5 in conference. Adding a REAL shooter in Bear Jones, not the one trick pony Velander, will make us that much better. Doc did run that brand back in the day at UTEP, and he also changed styles when he didnt have the players to run it.

I'm pretty sure that Pederson also hired Ben Howland when he was at Pitt, which gave way to Jamie Dixon...

and to WI- the huskers have them, just not consistently Which is the problem...you need consistency. the only guy I know of that can do it all the time is Bear Jones. My roommate was a trainer earlier in the year when he was still practicing, and he told me that Bear makes everything, and was easily the best offensive player we have. And Toney McCray could do it, if given the green light.

Pretty sure when I was up at East today I saw him walking to his car...had all the East gear on. The guy I coach with is a teacher at East and I asked him what was up with Oku, and he said that East has this e-learning thing, that in his words, "a third grader could pass."

I'm trying to figure out if he needs better grades, why he would come to a state with a rep for having some of the top public school systems in the country? Why not stay in OK? And I went to school at LSU for a semester so I know about the great public school systems in the south...

And I'm putting my money on him being a Tiger.

Yeah, it was Harris. Poor Cookie except the mere fact cookie got up there to even come close to blocking the shot was insane! this team lacks a guy that can create his own shot...that is the problem. Until Nebraska can get a guy like that(even though we have it in Bear Jones) you will see defense and running the shot clock down. Doc adapts to what he has, in 04-05 with UTEP they were putting up around 80 points a game, kind of like how Mizzou is right now. This team needs to concentrate on shooting practices, they have the defense stuff down.

And how do you leave the only player that can beat you open? Carter was their only threat to take the shot...and he got free, horrible switch on the defensive end.

I was never a fan of the hire either, since I am a Wisconsinite, and saw his horrible defenses for UW. His defenses were the reason UW was Rose Bowl good one year, horrible the next. He just didn't get it.

So far, so good.

My Toshiba lasted for 4 years, then the CD/DVD drive crapped out. It was a very good value for me. I ended up buying an Apple in September and got the iPod touch for $50 with it. The system is great, no crashes or having to worry about viruses and spyware stuff. Plus the customer service is fantastic...people at the Apple store or online are willing to help in any way.

I really believe we need to leave any racism hear-say out of this...unless you heard comments directly from Witt? Just not good taste to be accusing someone of that on rumors - especially from a source out of state. Oh its not just out of state, it was some of his teammates...hence why I didn't want to bring it up. He lived with Mendoza his freshman year, which is why I was surprised when i heard about this from some people on the team. And I lived on Schramm 2 with Witt...so i know him well enough to say he probably just said some comments here and there that his teammates misconstrued.

And Zac Lee is the complete opposite of Witt...a real good guy. I had him in a management info systems course and he was always will to participate, and talk to everyone in the class. So it seems as if he would have the respect of his teammates. I didn't want to mention it earlier, but after seeing it on the Dallas paper comments, I too heard Witt was a bit of a racist and that the teammates didn't like him.

Heard about it. There were 3 good ones Sunday, Superman's warm-up shot, Villaneuva's, and Dahntay Jones's.

Well I coach soccer at Lincoln East, so I might be able to find out.

Please! I lived on Schramm 2 the same year he came, and he was real nice until he started meeting people, and pulling the I'm a QB for Nebraska crap. There were days where I had great conversations with him, other days where I didn't, but I haven't talked to him since an occasional meeting in CBA last year. I was all for supporting him if he became the starting QB...but I wouldn't have been too happy about it since I like Lee better.
