  1. South is the bad part, especially now that they put more people in front of the students. They should put two full sections, top to bottom of students together on the South side, that would make it more interesting. And WI and LSU fans are crazy because they are all hammered at the game. LSU fans at least stay through the whole game, most Badger fans leave before the 4th quarter. But the East student section was good throughout the whole game, minus people sitting during timeouts. We could take a page from LSU and have the band play music that gets the whole crowd to chant after certain downs on offense. For instance they have Geaux Tigers after getting a first down, play a song after second down that gets the whole student section dancing, and then they play a part from eye of the Tiger after 3rd down. And of course they have a song when the defense forces 4th down. Here is 1st down 2nd down I can't find the other two
  2. They had it up in Memorial too, and everyone around me was freaking out, so I texted my brother and he just said that the game didn't start until 8...sad.
  3. The thing I don't like is that the football players get so much more slack than any other athletes here. for instance, I know a couple of baseball guys, and if they get caught drinking just once, they are kicked off the team. No questions asked. However, football you can get multiple DUI/DWIs or resist arrest and still retain your scholarship and play. Just doesn't make much sense to me.
  4. Probably because the tunnel walk video wasn't working right away.
  5. What time and channel is it on DirectTV? It is on my local channels since I currently live in Lincoln. Since you are living in Alaska, I don't think it will help you out that much.
  6. I was flipping through my DirecTV, and I did see it being called the Bo Pelini show.
  7. Mudbug, I was a Tiger for the first semester my freshman year, which was 3 years ago...so I was there when Katrina came along. Which is a big reason I left for Nebraska. But I loved Saturday nights in Death Valley, especially tailgating from Friday night until kickoff. Glad to have you join the board, Tiger fans are some of the best in the country.
  8. I live in the North Bottoms and have a house with plenty of parking. Its right across the pedestrian bridge from the stadium, at 10th and Charleston. We should be able to fit a 40 ft trailer in our lot. The hard part would be driving it into the alley. If it sounds good let me know and my roommates and I can figure it all out. And that goes for anyone else on this board, you need a place to park/tailgate, come to my house, its in a prime location.
  9. Well its craig steltz, but maybe...
  10. I was at Lazlo's in the Haymarket last night when I got sat right next to Bo and some of the coaches! Sanders, Beck, Ekeler, Papuchis, and I think Watson were all there. And I think they were there with some recruits too because there were large football looking players which I didn't recognize, and they were wearing name tags. It gave me goosebumps...and got me all excited for next season to start already! Bo Big Red!
  11. As I hope so too....please offensive and defensive line recruits need to stay....
