The thing is, Osborne adapted and innovated over his years here. If he stayed we wouldn't still be running his offense from the 90's. He is/was a genious and would have found new ways to attack. Frost's legacy is still TBD.

It would be really great if we had anything worth putting into a hype video like that. We need Frost more than he needs us.

Well, there isn't much else to draw attention in the state sports wise. No pro teams or other major football. Saturdays in Nebraska revolve around football. Growing up Saturdays in the fall were always a party. Either a bunch of people come over to our house, or we go to a friends house. I can't tell you the number of people that I've known who moved to the state for a couple years and leave (or stay) having become a Husker fan. It's impossible to be immersed in that culture and not rub off. (Unless they are already a hardcore fan of another college team) I haven't lived in Nebraska for the last 10 years, and the thing I miss most is Football parties with friends and family where everybody is cheering on Big Red.

If Frost is 20% the rest of that list statistically doesn't even exist.

Here's my take on the Tennessee stuff. Read that thread and see what percent of them want Frost vs those that say he's too risky or Lane Kiffin 2.0. Now, imo these message boards are a reflection of the fan base and the fan base is a reflection of the boosters. Booster are just rich fans. My guess is their boosters are probably just as mixed and don't want to "risk" hiring Frost, and he probably isn't even on their radar (except as a desperate contingency) and vice-versa. They are delusional. Gruden ain't going there and Frost wouldn't touch it.

Frost isn't going to go coach for fans like this.
