Apathy

As most of you know my Playstation 3 crapped out on me last Friday night. So luckly they were nice enough to re-print my receipt and give me the brochure of the 2 year warranty. I called the warranty company last Saturday and they told me that I would be getting my box, ups tag, and all of that crap so I can mail it out for free. Thursday came along five days later and still no package for this 2 year warranty company so I decided to give them a call. They told me that I wouldn't receive my package till the following Tuesday or Wednesday. So lets say that I get this package on Wednesday, that will be 12 days that I've had a broken PS3. I could've sent it out to Sony the following day for $150 fee. So yesterday I went back to Wal-Mart to get a new PS3 right there on the spot. I told the lady at the customer service desk that I've been waiting for my package from the 2 year warranty company and it hasn't shown up and won't till the following Tuesday or Wednesday. I told the lady that I buy all of my groceries, DVDs, video games, oil, etc at Wal-Mart and this is how you repay your customers. So she called the electronic manager and I talked to this electronic manager about my situation and that I wasn't happy and that I was willing to pay the difference for a new Playstation 3. She told me NO go and that they couldn't do it because the SKU# on my mine was old or something and that their computers wouldn't recognize it.....Ummm ok. She would've even give me my money back or even a gift certificate. I told her that after talking to her I wasn't satisfied and ask for their Corrporate number. So on my way home I called the Corrporate number and told them my store and also told them that their 2 year company is a JOKE. The lady on the other line told me that she was sorry about my incident and that she would report this to the right person and that they.....wait wait wait here comes the best part......they told me That they would give me a call in a couple of business days WTF!!!! What advice can anybody give me other than to buy anymore gaming stuff at Wal-Mart. My grandma told me yesterday that I should call some Customer complaint number that I could call and report Wal-Mart or something like that.

Never...never....NEVER move your 360 while it's on. Most problems with 360s can be avoided by just taking good care of it I think that my PS3 will be alright if I go out and purchase a 120gb or 160gb hard drive that'll fit my PS3. I just honestly think that my hard drive is fried....and if i do purchase a hard drive and it doesn't work, i guess i could get my money back.

How do you reformate the Hard Drive? I can't do anything with my PS3 cause this message comes up everytime and I can't even watch a movie or do anything

I was a big Paul Johnson fan for the facts that you posted above. I watched two Navy games this past year when they played Army and Notre Dame. I was pretty impressed with his running game and what he did to The Fighting Irish. He's got a pretty impressive track record with Navy and with his previous coaching job at I thinks some Div1-AA school in georgia? If you can take a Navy team and create a winning program than thats pretty good. But I'm still a BOliever since 2003. I think that Nebraska will be back on top with Bo and we'll be up in the top 10 within 1-2 years.

Oh no not this again

This is and will probably be the only time that I will agree with BeachBuffs. I would much rather have a bunch of 2-3 star players that grew up rooting for Nebraska than a 5 star from another state. This is what Nebraska has been missing for the past four years. We've had a lot of walk-ons in the past that have out performed scholarship athletes. There will be nothing wrong with adding more Nebraska boys to the roster to push the scholars more and it'll also point out which walk-ons are willing to work their way to a starting stop over scholarship players and it'll improve the whole team as well. I honestly don't think that Cotton is an idiot....He played for Nebraska back in the 1975-78 days and he knows what it takes to make Nebraska great....walk-ons. Players who've grown up watching the Huskers and rooting for the Huskers and one day to play as a Husker. Barney Cotton has a excellent resume to back his accomplishments too...back when he was the Offensive Coordinator and O-Line coach for New Mexico State. Their Offense was quite impressive in three out of six seasons and ranked in the top 25. Bo brought Cotton back for a reason and I'm sure TO had some reasoning behind it too. I don't get all of this hate on Cotton.....we are all HUSKER fans so now's the time to support our players and coaches so we can rise back up top again. GBR!!!!!!!

Jim Grobe (Wanted all of his assistants to come) There were others that were rumored that might had or possible might get interviewed. Here are some of those people 1. Brian Kelly 2. Paul Johnson 3. I know that I'm forgetting about two or three other people but my mind is just blanked right now. Hope this helps

So last Friday my girlfriend and I were watching Collateral and after watching the movie, I popped out the movie and I placed in Grand Theft Auto 4 in the PS3 and then I turned it off by the touch pad. I went to the bathroom and came back to noticed that my girlfriend was passed out and the green light was blinking. I've never seen this before so I turned my TV back on to notice a black screen and then I powered the PS3 off from the back. I then went back to the bathroom to brush my teeth and I decided that I wasn't tired when I returned so I turned the PS3 back on. When it came to the screen, it had a message that read "Your Hard Disk File's have been corrupted and will be restored" so I hit the X button to perform the restoring process and my PS3 rebooted and again this message appeared at the main menu. So over and over again I would hit X and it would restore and reboot and this message would appear again. I went on the computer to google this problem and I'm not the only one with this problem. They say when you pop in a game or when the game is loading to never shut your PS3 off cause it'll ruin the PS3. The loading part is common sense but I've always turned my PS3 off after placing a game or movie in the disc slot ever since I've owned the PS3 for the past 17 months. So I don't know why all of a sudden doing the exact same thing day in and day out it finally did this? So thank god I got the extended warranty at Wal-Mart and will be shipping it out today to get it fixed.....hopefully all of my data will be saved as well as the videos and pictures. Anybody else have or heard of this problem?
