  1. To be clear, I'm clowning around here. Not a big deal at all. Just having some fun.
  2. It's OK, everyone. I know how to fix sin. You just use Holy Water. And how do you make Holy Water? Easy. You just boil the Hell out of it.
  3. Just paste the basic URL into the text box and it'll work. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L2Wx230gYJw If you have anything else in the URL, like this "&feature=related" it won't work. So the above code will work (if I took it out of the code box), but this one won't work: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6MTnAfds2Y&feature=related
  4. Doesn't matter if it's loud or not. I'm just using you ugly mofos to make me look better for the hot chicks! You show up, we'll get you a date. If not I'll give you a +1 every day for a month. But you have to let me go about it my way.
  5. Brewsky's would be good. It's big enough, it's not overly loud, and it's not O Street.
  6. I just realized I still have two Nickelback songs on my player here. "This is How You Remind Me" and "Too Bad." So I guess I'm still a fan.
  7. No. Shakers, The Night Before... you know. The usual lineup. Really, though - it's been a long time since I've been to a bar. Wherever we go, it shouldn't be too loud. There's no sense in getting together if the music is so loud we can't talk football.
  8. You're right, which is why both the Lue and Strickland names are so baffling. It's great that they're "family" and I have respect for these guys, but to make them your head coach is odd. We have the money to go out and get a "real" coach. But we never have, and who knows if we ever will.
  9. Are you talking about Rod Stickland? The 4-DUI Rod Strickland? and Are you talking Tyronn Lue... .who's never coached anywhere? You want one of these 2 to be the heir apparent? Erick Strickland. Former Husker. And I don't think da skers is advocating for either guy, just passing along the scuttlebutt from the front office. You also have to remember - it's not like it can get a lot worse here.
  10. Make that $66,667 per month until his contract expires in June 2016. $3.4 million. Thanks, TO. That's why Doc will be the coach next season. No doubt about it. Thanks for the correction, 308. I knew it was some absurd number. And I agree, Louisiana. I will be surprised if Doc is still here next year. If he's not, Osborne is going to have some explaining to do with his contract decisions.
  11. If he asks you to politely help him move something from the back his van, and then asks you your clothing size, gtfo immediately. I have no idea what you are talking about. borNred, you are welcome to ride with me. Here is a picture of my vehicle so you know when i get there. STOP POSTING PICTURES OF MY VAN, FRO!!! That's like the 100th time I've said that. Oy vey!!!
  12. .....really? maybe THIS is why we need actual subforums for the 'other' sports.... Or maybe it's why we need to mention, either in the Subject line or somewhere - ANYWHERE - in the OP or the rest of the thread, what it is we're talking about.
  13. If you're Doc, why would you allow yourself to be forced to take on Strickland or Lue, knowing that they're just there to replace you? Especially after this happened with Mike Anderson, if I'm Doc and they try to force this on me I'm just staying home until they fire me and collecting my $40,000 a month contract.
  14. Bo has modified his scheme many times. It seems like you're so locked in to taking shots at Bo whenever you can that you don't stop and think about what you're saying. Bo changed his scheme several times last year, from game to game and from half to half in some cases.
  15. I'm hoping we trend similarly to Penn State, who was in much the same position as we are today when they joined the Big Ten back in the 90s. Today they're in the top 50 of US News' rankings, and we're 101st.
  16. Yep, this is what they've been talking about with the new wing on the stadium. It's cutting-edge stuff, supposedly hoping to keep us in the forefront of sports science/medicine, kind of like weight training used to back in the 80s.
  17. He'll be this year's Spring Game Brion Carnes. He'll have a few good throws and he'll get the fans all excited and.... we'll barely see him again. Happens every year. I would hope you would base your judgment of a player on more than just a few throws in a spring game. Not talking about me, talking about the threads that crop up every Spring.
  18. He'll be this year's Spring Game Brion Carnes. He'll have a few good throws and he'll get the fans all excited and.... we'll barely see him again. Happens every year.
  19. So let me get this straight, you want me to travel to an undisclosed location, on Friday the 13th, as the lone non-husker fan??!! I Sir, have seen this movie before....if you tell me we are going to a lake party in the woods, I will be running and screaming like hell to get away. Yeah, but we'll have beer.
  20. If Bo leaves tomorrow those same emotions are going to be here, both tomorrow and ten years from now. Again, the reactions of this fan base predate Bo by four decades. Bo is not the catalyst of the fans freaking out any more than Taylor Martinez is the first quarterback running the Option at Nebraska. Bo is no more to blame for fan expectations than the fans are to blame for a fumble. One has nothing to do with the other. The fans are going to be putting these expectations on the team, regardless of what the coach (Bo or John Smith or Bob Jones or whomever) says.
  21. The problem I have with this quote is that it's not the case. It's nice to say, but you cannot tell me that P.J. Smith and/or Courtney Osborne aren't better athletes than Justin Blatchford, Lance Thorell and/or Austin Cassidy. Smith and Osborne were both Blackshirts two years ago, then last year they vanished. Being a better athlete isn't the problem. The problem is that people don't seem to understand the defense, and Bo isn't willing to allow their athleticism make up for what they're missing. Well.... except in the case of 2010 Lavonte David, who we were told didn't get the defense, but he was always in the right place because of his skills. So which is it? Are we allowing for diminished knowledge of the defense but greater athleticism, or is comprehensive knowledge of the defense a MUST before you see the field, or do we just play favorites?
  22. I'd like to do weekly updates, but it's not always easy to get over there to take pics.
