  1. Although it's pretty much impossible to discuss Coach Brown without bringing Christianity into the conversation, let's bear in mind that this is a football forum, not a religious forum. If we get too far into the realm of Christianity - or any other faith/religion - we're going to relocate the thread to Politics & Religion.
  2. The minute some Republican launches his bill to save the economy and fix this mess I'll buy into benevolent Republican motives. Until then, the fact remains that they would rather see this country trashed for another year than do anything to assist in recovery, because that could reflect well on Obama. Regular Americans are just collateral damage to them. And when the Democrats are in their shoes it's the same thing. And yet all we see are mindless zombies regurgitating the nonsense either party spews forth. It's all so much derp it's crazy. And yet here we are.
  3. Those stats aren't >80%. Just saying. However, containing D Rob must be of emphasis. Using David to do so makes sense. You are correct! I threw the numbers into Excel and .88 popped out, and I didn't pay attention to the numbers. Turns out I used 3,475 instead of 2,475. So it's 60%, or a little more. Thanks for catching that. +1

    Kinnie

I wasn't trying to remove blame from the WR in question, just pointing out it possibly was more than just "Kinnie can't catch". There are more factors that we don't see on game day, but the receivers and QB go through every day in practice. If you watch the WR's reactions when the ball is on them, you can tell that consistency is a factor. Not the reason. A factor. Hah! Glad you finally joined up! Took you long enough. Make yourself at home, ORS. I get your "factor" argument, and I don't want to say it's "NOT a factor." I just think it's more on the WR than the QB in that scenario.
  5. That's the platform. The takeaway from their actions is they want "Not what the Democrats want." And that's no way to run a successful government.
  6. The vast majority of those in power are up to these shenanigans. That's why I think it's absurd to adhere to either party's nonsense. If it isn't Pelosi it's Boehner, and if it's neither it's someone else in either party. The fun never ends because we've enabled them to lead this way by our inattentiveness. That's why I don't wholly excoriate groups like the Tea Party and/or the Occupiers. I think both represent justified angst over the nonsense going on in Washington. This system is badly broken. Supporting either of the existing parties isn't going to fix it. Stop giving them your money, stop giving them your ear, and maybe they'll awaken to the concept that we aren't their stooges - they're our
  7. I vote Option C - None of the Above.
  8. I dunno, looks to me like it could be a fake. Nope, that is definitely a helmet.
  9. Yes and no. Some posts are missing, but you aren't missing anything.
  10. This is the guy I bought my shoes from. The finished product, after some paint and mounting: Prices have gone down, though. When I bought my shoe in May, 2010, I had to pay extra for nails.
  11. Don't mess with the bull young man. You'll get the horns.
  12. Pelosi needs kicking to the curb. The sooner the better. One of the worst leaders the House has ever seen. Ever.
  13. So you're saying turn the defense up to 11?
  14. Don't threadbomb. If you don't like the thread, don't post in it.
  15. I thought about this, too. It's hard to say. They haven't beaten Ohio State in.... forever, so maybe. But I doubt they're going to overlook us. I think we'll get their very best shot.
  16. D Rob has 2,475 of Michigan's 3,927 yards of total offense, or greater than 80% of their offensive production thus far. I don't think dedicating your best player to stopping that is wasting him. But I don't disagree with bringing Stafford down as the spy, either. Whatever happens, I think having our fastest guys on the field at any given time is the best bet. Leaving wide open spaces for Robinson to roam in are going to get us killed.
  17. I am sure you have the same amount of conspiracy theories for the tea party movement being unfairly tagged as racist, bigoted, homophobes!! I have. I am not an Occupy supporter. Just a third party watching all the silly partisan bickering going back and forth, pointing out the fallacies of each side.
  18. It's a good thing it's entirely impossible for that to have been staged to discredit the Occupiers. I mean, a guy just happens to be there with his camera on while an Occupier very publicly defecates? Yeah. Totally not fishy at all. I mean, sure, I can believe some of these Occupiers would do this. But I believe the urge to discredit this movement by people with money and willingness to do so is greater.
  19. But that was on Twitter. This came from Facebook, so I think we're OK.
  20. So much happens at 31 Flavors. It's like the Mecca of information.
  21. We're not going to let this devolve into personal attacks. AustinHuskr, you've been warned often enough to knock this off. No more warnings.
  22. Considering the fact that he told the coaches he didn't want to redshirt DESPITE being told the sober reality of how many touches he was going to get, he has only himself to be upset at.
