  1. I would be surprised if OU scheduled any OOC games with Nebraska any time soon, I just checked out some future OOC games they have scheduled and they include a home and home with Notre Dame and Tennesee...
  2. Too bad there won't be one last game in Boulder, I wanted to go out with a bang. Endless stories of piss bombs, grandmothers getting beer poured over them, overturned burning vehicles with Nebraska tags and so forth, if you have to go out, go out with style!!!! lol On a serious note though I wonder how many Husker fans will actually be just a little sad when they see Ralphie run for the last time come this Thanksgiving?
  3. You meant to say, "man, I did not realize CU was so important that Texas would follow them..."
  4. The oil spill is the equivalent of god taking a giant crap in the Gulf of Mexico. My sales are down 65% each day and this is the time of year that we get our summer tourists which basically pay for the bills come January. So unless BP does make good on its claims, which I doubt, I will be lucky to be employed come fall. Such is life I guess. As for not patronizing BP stations, I would ask for any of you to actually spend money at BP gas stations, the reason being is that any boycott that becomes effective can have the ability to cut BP's cash flow. I do not want BP to come out and say that they no longer have the money to clean up and compensate us. Anyhow back to football, yes I will miss our game, but this is a great move for Colorado and a great move for you guys to go to the Big 10. It was nice to see Colorado to make the top story on ESPN that was positive because god knows we have seen some negatives lately. So I am excited and I think the west coast exposure for us will really help bounce us back to where I feel we belong. This move coupled with the USC probation can give us a shot in the arm.
  5. I think that has to more with them being the SEC's bitch for so long now....
  6. Without Colorado beating NU in 2007 we still might have Callahan and Cosgrove running the show and no Big Ten invite to look forward to. For that CU should have our gratitude. lol The only sour note about today is that Talkins is still our coach...
  7. I am saving all my piss between now and Thanksgiving 2011...lol It will make one hell of a piss bomb...
  8. The fact that Street Novelist even posted this reaffirms my belief that it is a rivalry for him, we still have two more seasons SN...lol
  9. That dude from Orangebloods was on College Football Live and he said that at the CEO level, the relationship between Texas and Nebraska is as strong as relationship at that level...
  10. If Mizzou goes too then, that is 3 replacement schools for the North Division, let's assume that TCU and Houston were to join and they go to the south and OU/OSU stayed and went to the North then who is the most attractive North Division replacement?
  11. I'll miss it too, it will still be interesting to see how this all plays out, we may end up without a rival in this deal as well, kind of like how you all felt with the Big 12. I am still hopefull for Utah but I doubt it at this point.
  12. Good luck, and good job beating Baylor to the punch. Baylor was never a serious option for them, they weren't going to take a religous based school. So they go for the marijuana based school? yes because we fit nicely with Cal....
  13. Good luck, and good job beating Baylor to the punch. Baylor was never a serious option for them, they weren't going to take a religous based school.
  14. Packin my bags and headin west....lol
  15. I will miss the annual dicsussion of why I am an asshat and why our game is no more important than any other game, but good luck playing in the Horseshoe, The Big House, and Happy Valley, I am sure that some of you are really looking forward to some really cool road trips.
  16. PAC 10, no excuses?? Hopefully
  17. Yeah a tool that will get a football scholarship to play for a team that seems be to Top 10 every season for the last10 years, I wish i could be a tool as well.
  18. What makes him any different then the typical internet football poster?
  19. I still hold out hope that Kid McD can pull off some coup if they get a 1st round pick for Marshall and then trade up for Suh.
  20. I am not sure if these are the worst, I thought Seoul sucked, but why are they scheduling games at places where there may not be any snow? Salt Lake was a success, even though they literally had to whore themselves, but at least they had snow. My list of bad ones that I know of would be Munich #1(massacre), Atlanta #2(bombing), and Seoul #3(disorganized).
  21. Just to let you know I too was at the Oklahoma game and it was one of the best games I have ever been to at Memorial. I've been to around 80+ games there and it was near the top. I would rate it and Colorado '08 as 1 and 1a as far as best games and atmosphere for a husker game. Texas '06 (a 2 point loss) would be #2 despite the result. Oh and a note to Beachbuff... Sorry but I can't really see myself caring about missing a CU game in Boulder. The city is great, but I am not a fan of seeing a game there. Sorry to hear about your wife, but I am glad it wasn't too serious. Good luck to your team this year. As much as I dislike Colorado it is good for NU and the B12 when they are winning. Don't cop out to the Pac 10 because it will give you an easier schedule. Stick it out you will be good someday. I wouldn't expect you to care if you missed a game in Boulder because you are a Husker fan, just like I don't think I would care too much about missing a game in Lincoln, although that really isn't true for me because I love college football and would go to any game I could regardless of school. In fact the most despised team for me is Notre Dame but it is #1 on my list to go watch in person in South Bend.
  22. Hey BB good to see you posting. Every time I hear talk like, "Your win against us was a fluke. Just wait till the next time we meet we'll kick your a$$.' I remember a line from 'True Grit.' After being told to surrender or die by Rooster Cogburn, Lucky Ned Pepper comes back with, "Now I call that mighty bold talk for a one-eyed fat man." I feel the same way about Canada and all I have to say is, "Remember to bring your game Canada, and don't forget you still have to win one more game just to get there." T_O_B My depression from last season is over...lol Anyhow, good to see you as well, take care my friend and yes beat the Cannucks!!!!
  23. Glad to hear your wife is doing okay. BTW, @ your siggy. Sounds like you've got the moving van on reserve and the real estate sign planted on your front yard. Thank you. Yep, I am ready to head west, we need a shot in the arm, hopefully we find out this summer and Hawkins gets the axe in December and we make plans for an overhaul. We seem to target the west coast anyhow, hell we cannot even recruit our own state right now, so I think it would be a great shakeup. My scenario is for Mizzou to go to the Big 10, we and Utah head to the Pac 10, OU and OSU to the north, and Arkansas and Houston to the south.
  24. I had tickets last season to fly out and watch CU play Wyoming but about a week and half before the game the doctors found a cyst in my wife's throat and at the time we did not know it was a cyst and we had to wait for the biopsy results which took almost 2 weeks to get. This of course covered the time of the game so I had to cancel my trip because she wasn't going with me and I couldn't in good conscience attend the game. Fortunately it only turned out to be a thyroid cyst which they operated on and removed, of course the Wyoming game was the only game of the season where we played worth a damn. I am hoping instead to try and go to the Georgia game this season even if we lose I think it would be a neat game to see, plus SEC teams do not fare well west of the Mississippi.
