Couple things to help you feel better: 1. Meyers isn't pitching until Sunday so that he can play CF in the first 3 games. Can't have him in the outfield throwing right after he has pitched. 2. The forecast is calling for rain Saturday, so Erstad lined up his top 2 remaining starting pitchers (knowing Burkamper can't start/Meyers pitches Sunday) for tomorrow's double-header. IF they play game 3 on Saturday, I'm sure we're going to see Johnny All-Staff eat up those innings. Miller is just the first reliever who will start the game on the mound. just don't like it fellas, if we don't have 4 starters to start the season theres a problem. the problem is the fact that we have to johnny all staff. all this means to me is the talent is still not there. Miller was a top-50 left-handed pitcher coming out of HS. And he has pitched all of a half inning since!

couldn't believe when read the pitching rotation for this weekend, 1. Waldron 2. Tillotson-Colorado Player of the year last year 3. BEN FLIPPING MILLER!!!!!!! 4. Jake Meyers. 1-2 and 4 are understandable but you're telling me BEN MILLER is one of the four best we have got!!!! youre telling me any of Burkamper, Mcsteen, Engelken, or Eddins. NONE of them are better or have improved enough to pass up BEN MILLER!!! maybe I'm blowing this way out of proportion, but my lord i feel like we have to have better than this.

i truly think we are fine taking the 3 we did is ok. guys who have been here Stanley, DPE, JD Spielman, keyan Williams, the 3 walkons that are legit, gabe rahn, brian riemers, brady pelzer, and then you add Tyjon Lindsey, Keyshawn, And Mcquitty to the mix and i think were fine. rafdal the tight end is also basically a 6'7 230 reciever we can flex out in the shotgun.

i think ben miles might be more than a fullback fellas, i think he's our second running back in the class. see lots of versatility in this kid.

Sounds Like in the next game or two we will be Getting Abraham back from a broken hand after missing the last couple week, and Leslie Smith will also be playing his first game of the season. they won't help our offensive woes much but together they average 10 boards a game which has been a major deficiency for the huskers while playing with no true centers. it will help our rotation out big time allowing us not to have to play guys such big minutes. they also bring a great defensive presence to the floor. some may not view this as big news but i believe it will prove to be big once they come back and knock the rust off. GO BIG RED!!
