  1. The Blackshirts tradition needs reviving so badly. Isn't this the greatest hope for Bo?
  2. I usually celebrate the Husker Victory by overturning random parked cars then setting them on fire. If no cars are around its over to 72nd and Dodge to punch a horse or two then shimmy up a light pole and scream incoherently. Gotta support the team. Sounds like a Buffs fan after solving a rubiks cube
  3. Merry Christmas! Flying back into Husker Country on the 25th!
  4. If you remeber correctly Callahan was't a kneejerk type reaction, we HAD to settle for Bill because no one else would come here! Pud ran off Solich and failed to realize that the Husker family wanted Bo. Another not so great moment of Puds career here! I guess that's what I meant. Callahan was just a bad decision, but hopefully, we're taking our time.
  5. The coach search needs to be a thoughtful process. We don't need a kneejerk Callahan-type decision. Recruiting timing is important, but making the right decision is more.
  6. I'm watching the Junction. They have the more news than you could shake a stick at.
  7. These are just preliminary interviews. The equivalent of a phone interview, no need for the full tour yet.
  8. I thought that the talk of Jim Grobe kinda died a week or so ago. You really don't hear him come up anymore much.
  9. What happened to all that discussion?
  10. The "if" part at the start of the post. I always want a win, it just seemed to good of a situation to not bring it up on the boards.
  11. I don't think you get it. First of all, this is all theoretical, take a deep breath dude. In theory, if a win tomorrow means more Callahan next year and a loss means he's fired, then which would you take?
  12. If a loss tomorrow will nail the coffin into BC's coffin, would you be willing to forego a bowl appearance this year and accept a loss tomorrow? Before you say "of course not, I am a true Husker fan and could never hope for a loss", with BC being gone leads to more wins in the future. Therefore, hoping for a win tomorrow will translate into hoping for losses next season.
  13. The point has nothing to do with Woodson individually, it shows how he loses every team he's coached. Of course, losing a team is the players fault, but it's also the coach's responsibility to keep their respect. That makes a good coach.
  14. Here's just one example of the contradictions from the article and how it's a puff piece. Really, give me a frickin break, he's not Mr. Nice Guy
  15. What a puff piece for Cally. I think they forgot to mention that Raiders players had to be restrained from him during his stint in Oakland.
  16. Almost the last decade of basketball seasons But, yeah, I know what you mean
