i saw 11 ... which is still way too low... what the hell do these oddsmakers know that we don't ? then again last week we were 7 point favorites and lost by 5 so a 12 point difference... add about 12 or 15 to 11 and that's probably what NU loses by this week... I hope Nebraska football players get on here, read this crap by us know-it-all fans, and go out there and PROVE ME WRONG.

probably because they were thanking God for no major injuries and being so gifted and blessed ... yeah there was a lot of trash talking but it was the heat of the battle and it was a big game, but just a game

Helu is much better than Lucky. Name me one game in Lucky's career against a good team that he's had a good performance. I really hope someone can find me one for the sake of five stars. Helu hits the whole hard. He stays on his feet as long as he possibly can. He'll lower the shoulder when Marlon would try and run around a defender. He's faster than Lucky. He plays with visible fire and passion Get Helu 75% of the carries and see what happens. That's my take

absolutely.. should not be any complaining with where the team is at... yes the team made a lot of mistakes, especially blown coverage and penalties.. but they fought hard and played 60 minutes and came up 5 points short.... Missouri will be a great experience for this new staff

1) if we put ourselves in position for an important play like a key first down or a big stop we have to stay focused and not kill ourselves with a FREAKING PENALTY.. we have to be the worst in the Big 12 in that category 2) fly to the ball and wrap up and tackle like blackshirts... i wish Charlie McBride and some former blackshirts could have their own time to preach during film study time this week 3) wouldn't it be nice to pull Ricky Henry out of the redshirt and insert him in the starting lineup to make a statement to the rest of the entire team ? i know it would be a mistake in the long run but damn we really need to be PHYSICAL and pound this Missouri team into submission .... we gotta be fanatically optimistic

let's hope the O line is the heart and soul cuz we're gonna need them to step up and play their best football over the next few weeks if we want to have any chance .... GBR

I am not sure it will be that much of a blowout...but Oklahoma has been KILLIN teams...and TCU won't escape Norman with a W this time......no chance. Bah...how hard is it to kill teams like Chattanooga, Cincinnati and Washington? Anyway...it'll be a good game with TCU's #1 defense going up against OK's #4 offense. I still say TCU wins it... Cy you might wanna take some time off from smokin' that Iowa ditch weed

the only ones saying Nebraska will beat them handily are the true hardcore koolaid drinkers with rosy red sunglasses... this should be a helluva game that comes down to 3 or 4 key plays , turnovers and special teams being the keys to victory.... i'm not predicting a score this week because i have no freaking clue what will happen expect one thing : VT DC Bud Foster will stack the box and stop the run so i'm looking for play-action from the NU offense ..... I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS GAME ! GO BIG RED !

i'd say it's an evenly-matched game .. both teams are pretty damn good , especially on defense (NC and VT)

pretty sure it'll be time when the head coach says it's time.... I have a feeling if some players really show up big at the VT game there may be a couple handed out... I love the motivation factor !

i love how everyone thinks VT has no offense... yes it may be the weakest part of their team but with good coaching ,more experience, and more continuity they'll be much improved for the Nebraska game Tyrod Taylor is no joke ... that offense will be able to control the clock on NU .... I do think it'll be a low-scoring game that comes down to whoever makes the big plays in the 4th quarter and whoever plays better on special teams

I highly doubt Missouri will be taking Nebraska lightly. I'm thinking they'll probably know they've never came in to Lincoln and won for one, and they know Nebraska will soon be back to a dominant program again which would make this their best shot to beat NU at home in a long period of time... they'll come out throwin' all over the place and the Huskers will need everything to go their way to make it a game

ABC all the way : 1) ABC is available in HD , cox channel 709 , FSN is NOT available in HD through Cox 2) Nebraska just does not play better at night for whatever reason.... 3) ABC coverage may not be great but how would FSN be any better ? FSN coverage is slightly better than the pay-per-view coverage we've seen over the last couple weeks it's a no-brainer for me
