I dont want Watson to leave, but I will say that hed better figure out how to best use our players a little earlier in the year next year. By the time we got to the va tech game, we shouldve had more of an identity on offense. The last half of the year for the most part was awesome of offense.

Forgive me if this has already been brought up but, NU & Texa$$ SHOULD have been in the big 12 champ game. I know its a memory none of us want brought up, but if we beat TT in OT, that takes them out of the tie for the big 12 south. & we end up w a better conf record than Mizzou & the south tie-breaker goes to Tex which beat OU head to head. I know, I know. Ifs ands & buts....

Maybe people from Nebraska would look differently upon CU if every time we went there for a road game, we didnt get cups of urine and battery loaded snowballs thrown @ us. Call me crazy. I don't know why everyone is so surprised that we are targeting WR's. The coaches obviously feel that this an area of need, so live with it. After next year we have what, 5 WR's, all with hopefully 1 year of experience. In an offense where we send 3-4 on the field at once, 5 doesn't seem like a good number. If one goes down, how many backups do we have? Plus, some of these guys MAY see the defensive side of the ball. I always read on here that competition brings out the best. Well, in order to have competition, there needs to be depth. Agree on the fact that some of these guys will probably end up playing D. Look at OU. Bob Stoops recruited a bunch of WR's & turned some of them into DB's. Bo's doing the same thing. Just get as many athletes here as possible. You can NEVER have enough playmakers. IMHO

I would tend to think that Bowman will go before Sam in the draft. I dont think Sam will get drafted at all personally. I think Sam will make some team a very good back up for a while & then we'll see. Bowman's stock is rising.

Call me a homer but I think I'd have to agree with the 3-year plan. Bowl game next year and build from there. I think the depth chart could be different than what we think it is because this coaching staff WILL play the players who deserve to be on the field. My sleeper is Zac Lee at QB.

Im sure im with everyone else in saying good luck to LaMichael & the 75 different uniforms he'll get to wear in the next 4 yrs. Its probably a good thing because there isnt a great need at RB this year anyway. Still dont know whats going on in Oregeon cause correct me if I'm wrong, but didnt they get 2 other hi profile RB recruits this year? We'll take our chances with Okafor, Lucky, Castille, Mendoza & Helu.

Prince is defnetely one of a handful of great atheletes on the roster & he will see more time on the field this year. Cant wait to see what he'll be able to do. He sounds like a great down-to-earth kid. He will do great things next year for dear old NU!
