agree, can't believe the academic levels at Auburn are too terribly high?? based on? based on a small town in se Nebraska. how high do you think the academic standards are in small town rural community? Give it a chance. It's football so don't get me wrong...I'll watch about any football throughout the year....but yes, this has "One and Done" written all over it. Sorry.... It has a chance, it is during the offseason of college football & the NFL..... I'm going to watch it anyway

If you ever want to get the attention of Pelini and Cotton, you have to EARN it! But...in the meantime...Have you ever considered Iowa State? NO don't flush it down the crapper, let it float.... but buy another toilet (sCUm or mizzou?!! ) we can't get the OU rivalry back, but we can build another strong rivalry that we can be proud of and thats full of tradition 20 yrs. from now

Well if the school I originally wanted to go to didn't offer a scholarship to me until someone else backed out, I don't think I change my mind when the other school had you as their #1 choice (Nebraska) Scott I don't know, I see what you're saying. But if it were me, say I had an offer from Oklahoma, Colorado and Who Cares St. All my life I dreamed of even being offered to Walk-On at Nebraska, but I had full-rides waiting elsewhere, I take the offer at Oklahoma and then Nebraska gains an open scholly and offers it to me, I would have a extremely hard time not swallowing my pride and taking that offer. The school you want to go to and play for is the school you want to be at, regardless of how you get there. I hope Eddie is 'N' but won't have any hard feelings if he isn't so long as he doesn't touch our QB(and he makes up his mind before it's too late for us to replace him). Timing is what bothers me most actually and I blame that on A&M, a kid commits to us so they offer him,(yes they lost a DT, but I'm sure they had others on their list) that is what bothers me the most especially being how many X-huskers are on that staff now.

OU isn't our rival their Texas' rival. I and just about everyone i know like OU ( that in itself eliminates them as a rival) I hope OU wins every game... except against us ( not something you'd wish for a rival). OU is our "traditional" rival (no one is arguing that) but with the birth of the Big 12 that rivalry died ( I know it's SHOCKING ), but you can't keep living in the past.... please move forward. I know some of you like to preserve our traditions, but in the process your preventing our program from developing NEW traditions (like rivalries with sCUm and Mizzou and black jersey's ) I know rivalries with sCUm and Mizzou can't compare to OU, but their as close as it can get. PLEASE "TRADITIONALIST" HUSKER FANS MOVE FORWARD!!

Man the ENTIRE defensive coaching staff traveled to Will's house! That says a lot about this young man's skills! it also speaks volumes for how hard our coaching staff is working

I voted mizzou, because for the last few years we've been alternating win/loss with them the most (who ever has home field wins) and both teams bring their "A" games whenever we play each other. I'm only 19 so the OU rivalry was practically dead when i started watching football (well, they sucked we were dominant... not much of a rivalry imo, then the big 12 was formed and the rivalry went down the drain). Rivalry raking.... IMO 1. Mizzou 2. K-St. (I live on the boarder of Kansas) 3. sCUm 4. OU 5. Texas, and their not a rival I just hate them

Why do people want to mess with tradition? to create a NEW tradition, My favorite husker unis are the ones from 01, but wearing a black jersey once a year or once every other year would be awesome imo. whats wrong with trying something new?! seriously if we look stupid we don't have to wear them again, but how can we tell if we never try.

i liked the all white unis, they could have used some red stiching, kinda like what michigan has on their away jerseys. to me when we were red pants it looks like were wearing a red diaper.
