  1. Well, most of the passing routes were slants, and don't get me wrong, yesterday was a tremendous win, but we're going to have to run the ball more. I had to listen to the game, but were the majoity of the routes that passes were completed on were slants, or am I wrong? If that is the case, throwing the ball 50 times a game is usuallly a show of offensive desperation, unless you're Texas Tech.
  2. I concur... I want more victims to come to Lincoln.... BRING OUT YOUR DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. I had my own personal "B******" in the swamps of jersey...
  4. I'm not usually one to promote "playing dirty", but first pass play that T Tech calls, have one of the LB's come in and level Hodges, even if it is late... Just absolutely scare the living hell out of this kid. Let him know that last year, was last year, this is now... Just hit them as hard as we can, so by the end of the first quarter, the whole team is in fear...
  5. i'm gonna keep this short... Granted, a win is a win, but there's gonna be a time when that might not be enough. We might have stellar seasons, but when it comes to winning "the big game", he falters. I personally don't think Callahan can win the big game. He's shown in the past where he's done his personal impersonation of the Hindenberg, and for the sake of the team, I hope that changes, but something tells me that it won't. He needs to learn when to run the ball. That's how you win football games. When it's 3rd and short, and there's less than 2 minutes to go, and you punch it through on the ground. Not calling a short pass, which everyone will come to expect sooner than later. Running the ball is a staple of championship football. For those of you old enough, all the really solid football teams, have almost always had a solid RB. We have one, but he's not getting a chance to get outta the gate. There is gonna be a time where I will get to see a replay of the Raider/Buc Superbowl, only instead of Silver and Black, the team getting schooled, may be wearing Red... Ok, so I lied about keeping it short...
  6. I still am in the category of, "what could have Bo done"????
  7. Well, I was listening to the game, because the f-tards on the east coast wouldn't know college football if it bit them in the a$$, but our own radio guys said up until the OT periods started, that the crowd had no life... Glad to hear otherwise...
  8. No, I don't expect any of the aforementioned things... What I do expect is, what might be called "football common sense"... Running the ball on shortyardage situations... Things of that nature.. I watched BC run my Silver and Black into the ground against the Bucs in the Superbowl... But then again, what the hell do I know, i'm a....

  22. You didn't grasp what I was saying either. I know we're not firing BC anytime soon, so re-read what I have written...
  23. Better coaches. We had a pretty good team of returning players this year, am I right? Aside from the fact that no one really knew how Dailey would fare once he became the starter and a few other things, I thought our future was looking up. We need a better game plan. Running on 3rd and long, and throwing the ball when your trying to run the clock out is just plain dumb. I've never coached, but that's just common sense. When you're winning, with less than 5 minutes to go, you run the ball. If you think i'm bashing coaches, then tough. I want a coach that is able to think, adapt, and adjust on the fly, not just keep doing the same thing that isn't working. That's one of the coaches important attributes, is the ability to adjust to changing situations.
