  1. k.state upsets baylor. Nu upsets wiscy? Upsets only because apparently most people think we're the underdog. Regardless of all that kudos to bill snider for an awesome win. To bad for rgiii. P.s what the heck was that noise?
  2. 810 zone on the plaza is pretty husker friendly.
  3. This. If he's so disliked by the alums that he can't coach, they wouldn't put him in a position where 62% of his job is buttering alums up. 62% that's a very exact number. TO must have it down to a science 8) I agree that it all sounds like it could happen but the the timing isn't right
  4. Hexidecimal....brilliant. props to you good sir
  5. So far abdullah. But I really see green and turner becoming even more evasive and explosive than they are now. Abdullah is just crazy though. Always one step away from busting a big gain. Though I think turner and green have shown that as well in the more limited rolla they've played thus far. Moore has looked fanned solid too especially in the fact that he's gotten bettwr each week he's step on the field.
  6. One growler down=one half played. Oi vey boys and girls. I predicted a slow start...but holy hell. Let's hope we come out firing
  7. I especially had a good laugh at the part about TO and JC
  8. Seems like we've had people in their backfield all day which is pretty nice to see
  9. Our pass coverage is a little shaky at times. Some blown coverages. Looks like some youth and miscommunication As I type this crick and merideth make the pick 8)
  10. If the rain continues today, as it looks like it will into gametime, this will be a good test to see how our ball handling improved. Does anyone think it will be a significant factor in today's offensive plan?
  11. damn bubba! You've got so many people staying up tonight waning over their computers! officially part of epic thread
  12. Haha I never took it personally. Damn emotionless blanket that is the interwebs 8) Just clarifying my thought. Theres a difference between spearing somebody in the neck and ending their career, and just flat out hitting somebody hard. I'm all about keeping people safe, but at what expense of taking the physicality out of a physical game? I agree though, that suh's tackle was in no way endagering the qb. I'm also not familiar with any specific rules, just refering to the "saftey movement" in general.
  13. I guess I'm not really calling into question the validity of the hit and more of the fact that it blows that suh needs to start playing "smart" according to the new saftey standards of the league or he will get the yellow left and right. I'm all for just knocking the crap out of someone. In fact I hate pretty much every new standard about saftey that's come out...it's football. But we know that the rules aren't changing, and football is as much a metal game as a physical game. Again, I don't support the rules, I just think it's somewhat lapsed of suh to blatanly ignore the rules he knows are in place. It does only hurt the team. Instead of 2&10 on the 37 or whatever, now it's 1@10 on almost the 20 yard line. Pretty big difference. Though one could argue he is doing it preseason to set a tone, and that it doesn't really matter in preseason.
  14. but at the expense of almost 100% positive chance of getting a personal foul for your team? Agressive play is amazing and absolutely needed by suh, but at the exchange of not playing smart?
  15. IDK, I would somewhat agree that this play is a little on the excessive side. The play was pretty clearly over. I don't think suh was necessarily in the wrong, or is a "dirty" player. But of this play, and the play w/ cutler (which is completely fine imho), I think this play was a bit worse. There wasn't a reason to slam him, he was done with the play by the time suh layed a hand on him. It was a strong finish to the play but...
