  1. Thanks for playing. It was a good game. Mizzou always plays tough. You may go home now.
  2. undeniably a beast. Great game roy! I always liked the kid. A good man in person who works hard a deserves a game like this. Gbr
  3. I agree that paul's problem, I believe, can be attributed to thinking ahead of himself a little too much..ie fumled snap, a couple dropped passes. Sure, bone-headed, but you can't say he doesn't give effort. I called him out after the texas game in another thread in pure frustration with that game, I'll admit, but he's still a stud. I feel for the kid being pissed off at fans, that was a low blow from some fringe husker "fans". Hopefully he keeps his hands around the ball and lets those legs go somemore.
  4. Just because someone made an observation about taylors performance with somebody in front of him as opposed to out of breath behind him doesn't mean they're saying there's something wrong with his running ability. Or that he's not going to be great. Or that it's our most important issue...or will even become an issue as most of the time it's people gasping. It's simply an observasion.
  5. Agreed with the broken ankles haha! The one thing he can do very well is fit through a hole an inch wide like a mouse through a vent. Pretty nice if your pocket is collapsing
  6. agreed. I had thought it but had the idea nullified by a couple of friends. Crouch used to leave people silly, or lower the pads and blow through people (ie iowa). Haven't see much from t magic yet...not saying he can or can't...just haven't seen much
  7. One thing I was not fond of was our sideline presence. I understand it takes a lot out of your sails having a couple (8 or more ) of busted plays. But you can sit and feel sorry about yourselves, which is what it seemed we were doing, especially our receiving core. Which I'm sure only exacerbated our less than successful catching regime. I agree that we need someone to step in and fire us up and give us a little hope. (i think taylor is fine to preface this) but I believe zac gave them a tiny light in a dark place but there was just no confidence within the team to do anything...after the first half, with our heads hung..there wasn't a chance we were going to win that game sadly.
  8. I'm so sick of niles paul. Don't call out for the ball if you can't pull in a 4 yard pass for 1st down from zach lee
  9. Baconwrapped ttots? *drools* mmmmmmmm ... Goodness

  11. Offense: I'd have to say Turner Gill with Green. Although I sure miss me some Nate Swift. He was a solid addition to my husker memories Defense: Suh besides J. Peter I know those are combos but it would be awesome.
  12. This isn't a holding picture...but it's a sweet picture. I definitely agree with the lack of holding. Especially against OU. I made it a point to go back and rewatch the game looking specifically at the lines and there were some blatanly missed holding calls
