  1. Looking more like you'll have that wish. KU scores again.
  2. A chance to equal our stride,
  3. Just for that, I'm gonna start listening to country music more often...
  4. I find the highlighted statement may be a stretch. I think Billy C was a more proven OL coach then Barney. If they are talking about Wagner that may be up for debate as well. Don't get me started on the "better" part of it either. I think Watson has a lot to prove after the first 4 games but if you ask me the OL coach has a lot more to prove. It is hard to run any kind of offense if the OL can't block and that is a direct result of their position coach if you ask me. The WR (Gilmore/Brown) blocking has improved, the TE (Brown) blocking gets better every game, RB (Beck) are improving in their blitz pcik-up, yet the only thing that has taken a step backwards from last year is the OL play and what is the difference between last year and this year? I'll give you a hint it rhymes with Farney Zotten. I hope we come out and pound the ball the whole game. I just fear that if they score first we may ditch the run game and go into panic mode like we did against Va Tech. I dunno if I would say it's panic mode per se. I liked that we showed that we can play from behind...which we did at the end of last week's game. Pretty good chance we'll be doing that tonight, except we need to get the win this time!
  5. you should not drive and type!! Are you applying make-up as well? Maybe reading a good book, or the newspaper? enjoy the game if you arrive alive. GO BO!! Don't forget steering with your knees and sucking down a Diet Coke........seriously, drive safe ...and lighting that ciggy...never could figure that one out...diet coke to be health conscience and a ciggy for what??? to stop me from killing those mouth breathers at work. seriously if i didn't have nicotine i'd put my head in a deep fat fryer....balls too. Your nuts.... Sorry, I had to.
  6. Yea i think we were supposed to be blown out Even the anouncers called it the offense of the 90s against the offense of the 50s. But I don't think this was the last time. The last time was any game we won with Callacoz coaching imo.
  7. I'll watch regardless...who knows when another game will be televised for me down here in lower Alabama.
  8. Does anyone think Missouri's week off will have any effect on their gameplay tomorrow...such as it might hurt them or with the rest help them? Just curious, usually I hear or read about that but haven't in all the talk for this game.
  9. Who do we play this weekend???
  10. Yea swift would be a big loss if he got hurt. It just goes with Ganz being quoted in an Omaha.com article saying he would love to be on the return team. Watson laughed and said no way. I just think we are too short with receivers to risk it. One touchdown on a return doesn't balance the many that Swift is worth as a receiver overall.
  11. Or for the Huskers to drop 6-7 Yes, the Huskers could very well drop 6 or 7 this year and we wouldn't be the least bit surprised. You, however, seem to have this elitist attitude that your team was ordained by God himself, so when you lose one or two, it'll be that much more sweet. So please, keep up with your "We're waay better than you, always have always will attitude", it's kind of nice. didnt you hear, MU is the only sure thing in college football this year and for the next 200 years. Nebraska will never........NEVER...........win another big 12 north title let alone a national title. they are invincible we are cupcakes. TAH will tear you apart brother! they take their vitamins and they get their exercise brother! Ahhhh crap...cupcakes. Well if Missouri is invinclible, guess I'll start looking for a non Big 12 team to support.
  12. Ok, clearly Swift is an asset on any return team, but am I the only one though that doesn't want to see him risk the chance of getting hurt and not being available for receiving?
  13. Yeah, and the national championship game is played in wheelchairs...I'll buy into that!
  14. For what it's worth, according to the all-knowing (cough) ESPN, Nebraska's D is#64 nationally, and Missouri's is #81.
  15. they do look like douchebag though Careful about who you're calling douchebags. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7wEHUCw8D1U Holy smokes!! You can also find this guy's pic under "creep" in the dictionary.
  16. Yet another reminder of the pile of poop that Callahan and Cosgrove left for Pelini.
  17. Wow, I think I now have my youtube viewing maxed out for the rest of the year!
  18. Hmmm...guess my last comment wasn't PC enough? So...does anyone believe this mess?
  19. Semper....dog. Hmmmm.... So anyways (New)...come on. I don't see many people on this site who are satisfied with a loss. I was logged on all day Saturday/Sunday (saw you were too) and the forum blew up with all the anger at the loss. Whether it was the lack of D, Joe's off day or the last minute penalties...we've been griping since that night! I'm ticked at that loss along with many others! Do we have a chance against 'zzouri this weekend...Yes! Dump the we're the best D (for what it's worth) that they've played so far...by about 20 spots in the defensive comparison rankings. So let's knock back Chase's worth a little bit. And it goes the same on the other side of the ball. I hate going by stats, but it looks pretty close despite their #3 ranking. So what does that mean? It means that i'll be pissed as hell if we lose. We have the means to win this. I think many of us know that and in no way will be sit back and settle with a loss. This is our team...I hope that I don't find anyone satisfied with a loss here...cause then I might have to join forces with those Marines to whoop some butt. K, I'm done. GBR!
