Through out the entire year, statistically Alabama is better. But I believe at the end of the season NU's defense was the best in the country!

I feel that to complete this class we are in need of three high caliber athletes. 1. WIDE RECEIVER NU needs another play maker at wide receiver. 2. OFFENSIVE LINEMEN It would be nice if NU got another good linemen. Depth, Depth, Depth at this position is crucial for the future of the offense! Bottom line! Need more competition at this position to make good players great players! 3. RUNNING BACK Need a blue chipper to come and make an impact. It is not crucial to get a running back because of the depth we have, but getting a top running back would complement the current class!

I think we need to keep pounding them right up the middle and wear them down so that by the time the fourth quarter gets here the holes start to open up! As far as our defense? I agree! Rex should be the starter going into the Texas game and get 90% of the snaps! He has great vision and get hit the hole fast! I do not want to take anything away from Roy Helu, But I think Rex can move the chains for us in a tough game like the one next week. I still think Helu is hurting, he is just not the same player we saw in the beginning of the season! It would not surprise me if you hear after the season that he will have surgery on that bum shoulder. I think it was a worse injury than what we were meant to believe.

I see Nebraska has made it back into the top 25 in the AP poll. What pisses me off is the fact that we always seem to get back into the poll just before we play a really big game! So if we lose this game against Texas we will likely be knocked out again! I think these people who vote just love to do this to Nebraska all the time! I say we go out and end any chance of Texas getting into the BCS National Championship game and regain our hold as a top 10 team in the AP! I hope our Defense plays lights out all night! Time to get nasty and play all out on every play! GO BIG RED!

I think for the remainder of the season we just play out of the I formation and run the power game with play action passing! I think this is the best way to continue to win for the remainder of our schedule! Let the D play lights out and Let Helu run and run and run!

Let's give it up for Oklahoma! They played their butts off tonight! They gave our fans in the stadium tonight a great game! Both teams played tough and neither team quit fighting in this game! This was a great OU - NU game! A game that will be right up there as one of the best in this classic rivalry!

We don't need an OC change! We need more play makers on the offense side of the ball. Plus right now this offense is really young! A couple of years and this offense will be stellar!

I know now that are offense's job is to get in the eye formation and run the ball. If you don't pick up the first down, punt the ball and let the defense set you up with the short field or get a turnover for six! This is what you will see for the remainder of the season. If it works so be it!

Next week game against Oklahoma should be interesting! I am usually not the type to look at a glass half empty, but I feel we are going to be taken behind the wood shed and beat up badly! I hope Oklahoma coughs up the ball 8 times like we did against Iowa State, than maybe, just maybe we have a shot! That defense is bad ass, and their offense can score better than ours even against our defense. I say OU 42 NU 10 It will be a good practice for us though! That's looking at the glass half full!

Watson is not the problem it is an offense plagued by injuries and a lack of confidence. This same offense was at the top of a lot of offensive statistics last year. Execution and a lack of play makers is most of the problem!
