Yeah I thought he was a little quicker than he looked on those two carries. We haven't really seen TA get into the open though have we? Curious I can't think of a time as of yet. I asked the same question earlier.

Their defense may not be that great, but they have shown they can tackle. I have yet to see our guys break a tackle 1 on 1.

Have we seen TA get into space yet? I haven't seen TA get a chance to turn on any speed but then again it could be because he just isnt as fast as TM.

In all fairness, Bo and Paps had 2 weeks to practice for this Illinois team. Let's see what the defense does when they have a week to practice against a team like the previous few week. We shouldn't have much of a challenge against Purdue, but after the second bye week we will see if anything has changed or not. Unfortunately, one game does not raise my faith in this team. I'll continue to hope they will get better but definitely will not be holding my breath. Been let down far too many times to just jump the gun again.
