    I mean, you don’t need to sell me on the notion of it, just trying to look at it objectively. He went 4-8 here. I doubt he does it again, but what if he does? Still a good coach? Spoiler alert: he won’t.

    To be fair, the majority of us THINK we have a good coach, but we won’t really know for a year or two. If we’re 10-2, I’d say he’s a great coach. I’d still say he’s a good coach with a lessor record, but still bowl eligible, until the entire roster is his, and has at least a year under their belts.

    My two posts got merged - the 0-6 comment was for those who were questioning if an early loss was going to ruin the mentality of the team for the rest of the season. The run for the hills was chosen specially for you. Since that’s what you wanted to do anyway, I’m merely encouraging it.

    What started as an urge to buy new furniture has turned into a complete renovation with all new paint, flooring and appliances (and can’t forget the new sliding glass doors).  $$$

    I remember wanting to give up after 7 bowl losses. (Admittedly I cried, as a full grown adult, after one of them where we were so badly manhandled). Then, the feast. Waiting for another feast, which i have no doubt will come, after a pretty long famine. If not, at least this version of the famine was fun as hell to watch.

    I think if they are used in conjunction with OTHER means of creating and continuing the team atmosphere, then it will be worth it. But, I’m with you at this point - until it shows results in the fall/winter, I’m not going to get rah rah about these any more.
