  1. Colorado definitely. They're very rude and don't support their team well when they struggle, unlike us. When they're doing well, their so arrogant.
  2. Prediction: Nebraska - 24 Clemson- 17 This will be a close game. Clemson's athletic defense will keep them in the game. I don't see Clemson scoring a lot of points with our time of possession, and their running game will be well defended by our D'Line. GBR!
  3. Click. Not only is Mcoy thinking of leaving; Bradford, Maclin, Crabtree, and Freeman, are. Gram Harrel, Joe Ganz, , Peterson, Nate Swift, Chase Coffman, Chase Daniel, some good Oklahoma & Texas receivers, and Stephen McGee are seniors this year. With all of these players gone, Big 12 will be nowhere near the same offensive power it will be this year. Will this be good for Nebraska in the near future? Comments?
  4. I'd love that, but I don't think it will happen. Offense : -Who'll be our quarterback? A true freshman or a first year starter who didn't even play a lot in the 2008 season? Doesn't sound like a awesome thing to talk about for 2009. The quarterback position will hurt us a lot. -Running Backs: We'll be better then this year hopefully. Helu should improve, and with the other good back ups, we'll have a great and fresh running gain. ( Our offensive line looks to be fine next year ) - Wide receivers/tight ends: Wide Receiver Core will be good, but not as good as this year. We have some big play ability with Paul. Our tight ends core will be a lot better though. This can lead to easy good yardage passing. Overall we'll have a decent offense. Hopefully we can make the first few games easier for the the quarterback to manage, so he gain confidence and get use to the offense. Defense: I think we'll be great, it'll help us a lot if Crabtree, Maclin, and Bradford go to the NFL Draft. Even if they don't, we'll still be good. Experience on the secondary, and Suh should return! Another year with Pelini will help a lot. - One of the top defenses in the Big 12 next year. Special teams: Wonderful!! We got Niles Paul as a returner, and a great field goal kicker in Alex Henry. He's a sophomore, right? Overall: Florida Atlantic - Win easily. Arkansas State - Win easily Virginia Tech - I'd say we have a low chance of winning? It's tough to play at the stadium, they got a good defense, first big game of the new quarterback for us, and they have a young team this year... Louisiana-Lafayette - Win easily. Missouri - Probably win. They are loosing a lot of their starters. It'll be tough though at their stadium. Texas Tech - Depends. If Cabtree goes to the draft and if Leach leaves, I think we should win that in a close game since it's at home. If those two don't leave, it'll be a unbelievably tough game to pick. Iowa State - Win easily. Baylor - Won't be a cupcake, but I think we should pull it out in a semi-tough game. Oklahoma - I think we can surprise them. A lot depends if they lose their offensive coordinator, but more importantly if Bradford goes to the Draft. We'll probably lose, but it should be a great game. (It's at our house, and we should gain confidence from the previous games. ) Kansas - Eh, another tough game to pick. It's at their house, they've got experience, and that Reesing will return. This is a tough game to pick like the Texas Texas Tech game I previously mentioned. Kansas State- Win easily. Colorado - Semi-tough game. They've got a lot of young players this year, and it's at the home of the criminals. Our quarterback might lose his eyesight from the lasers. Lol Predicted Record before [if] conference championship, and bowl game: 9-3. Probable Losses: Oklahoma, Virginia Tech, and either Kansas/Texas Tech. Then again, I'm just predicting. We should be focusing our attention on this season. Feel free to comment.
  5. The 30 rankings are fine to me; it brings some talent to build on. ( With our coaches, they'll be great! ) Recruiting is overrated. Sure, look at what USC gets and look at them; they're great. But look at Clemson and Tennessee. They get tons of talent, but don't produce like a top 10 or even top 25 team. As long as Bo is getting the Huskers to at least a 8-9 win team without a lot of embarrassing events for the next few years, we'll get loads of talent.
  6. Looked it up Last 2 years under Snyder: 2004 conference 2-6, 4-7 overall 2005 conference 2-6, 5-6 overall I'm happy he's returning Oh, I didn't know that. Then that's good after all. Since Kansas, Nebraska, and Missouri are recruiting decently, I don't think Snyder will get good recruits for this year.
  7. OMG PLZ TELL ME U MEANT THAT AS A JOKE!!! KSU A CONTENDER, TRY BOTTOMFEEDER Eh, as much as I'd hate to say it, he's a good coach. I think he can lead them to a 7 win team in 3-4 years.
  8. Looks like KSU will be a Big 12 North contender in the future.. Behind Big Red though.
  9. I hate how on ESPN they will always go over the game Notre Dame played that week. It gets annoying. But yeah, it's fun to see them lose with all the talent they get.
  10. We'll be pretty decent at the WR Core next year. I hope Niles Paul can develop to be Big Red's Reggie Bush.
  11. If we got matched up with Florida State, I think it would be a great game. The key in that game would be how we can pressure the young Chris Ponder.
  12. Agreed @ TMul. Lol But I think this will be a closer game then many people anticipate it to be. Colorado wants to become bowl eligible. Hopefully we can do what they did to us last year.
  13. Bo has done a terrific job to Nebraska so far; especially if he gets a win against CU & a bowl win. . I hope he can continue the good progress, but I think Mike Leach should win it.
  14. He's developed some awesome receivers like Nate, right? He's a good coach. I think he deserves the opportunity. But, I hope the recruiting stays fine.
  15. I would consider them a rival any day. We both play eachother with intensity, and fans from both sides hate each other. Both have at least a decent program (Nebraska's is much better then CU's though.)
