I see what you're saying but in my eyes that doesn't take away from how their defense plays. Yes, their offense has probably played statistically better defenses (i'm not sure I haven't looked up the numbers) but that still leaves the fact that their defense didn't necessarily play the greatest of offenses. And I still think it boils down to offensive prowess. With how dominant the Big 12 is offensively, I don't think anybody could have been able to survive the onslaught and come out with a top 25 defense. I totally agree with that. Playing Texas, Oklahoma, Ok State, Texas Tech, Mizzou, and others in the Big 12 (not sure who you guys played this year from the south without looking) will make your defensive stats look worse than they probably were. To quote Will Muschamp, "Stats are for losers, I like to win." That's what it really comes down to, and Nebraska went 8-4 in a great conference. I will say though, Clemson's defense showed a noticeable difference after Dabo took over, and showed a greater toughness. But to compare stats with a offensively-handicapped ACC (minus GT) to an offensive juggernaut conference that is the Big 12 is comparing apples and oranges. Should be a physical game, and a good one at that.

I totally agree. The mods and admins here have done a great job with this site. Wish Clemson had something like this.

No offense to you guys or your recievers, but I'm pretty sure it's not a good thing to play any recievers like that. Even a lineman could probably pick up at least 4 yards every time.

ANYBODY but Bent Fussberger is great with me. The Oklahoma-Missouri game made me absolutely sick. I've never heard such a biased one-sided call in my life. Old Brent apparently forgets that at least half of his audience may be interested in what is happening when the other team has the ball. The only thing that is worse is when he calls a USC game. Then he sounds like a high school kid who is going to get lucky with the whole USC cheerleading squad if the Trojans win. :-) Just be glad it's CBS and not ABC/ESPN. You could always play the Brent Mussberger drinking game for a good time...... Anyone's better than Pam Ward. That guy freaks me out. I don't know why that's funny, sometimes I just wanna kick him in the nuts.

Our students actually didn't get moved. It was the people that thought that they deserved their 50 yard line tix that they've had for 40 years when they only gave the minimum IPTAY payment. I think that IPTAY did a good job by offering them an opportunity to keep the seats if they upped their payments to a certain amount.

That is awesome. I'm happy for the girl and her parents, and glad he's home safely.

Just some advice for you Huskers that may possibly be driving to Jax. If you come through SC, make sure you fill up before you cross into GA, because our taxes are some of the lowest in the nation, and there is a noticeable change in prices from NC to SC then again to GA. Otherwise, our prices seem comparable to yours as I filled up yesterday for $1.46 near Columbia.

Typically we travel well too, matter of fact that's what got us this bowl game over others. Good luck, I know IPTAY (our booster club) members have first priority to the tix though. im suprised they have the wool pulled that far over your eyes. im not going to take the time to go find the link of the image, but its out there, showing exactly what tickets go where, who gets what, and whats "left over" im sure your proud "IPTAY" --by the way, what a horrible acronynm-- has the best seats on all four sides of the stadium and nebraska fans will be sitting in the corners 55 rows up. they have first priority towards your allotment. which is equally spread throughout sections on ONE side of the stadium. it has absolutely nothing to do with husker fans. in fact, fully expect the highest ranked IPTAY fans to be right next to a group of 'skers, and the 'skers with the best seats on the other side to be right next to a group of orange, as the ticket map i saw had both schools getting sections spread throughout thei side of their home/away, with gator bowl website tickets being sold all in and around. i bought mine from the gator bowl website, and 2/3 sker fans i know did the same. That's what I meant, that IPTAY has first priority to the Clemson allotment. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I was just saying that in response to the Nebraska people buying our allotment up. Many of the Clemson fans that I know have also bought straight from the bowl, as they felt as though they could get better tickets from the bowl than through IPTAY (which is a terrible acronym, I know, but it was the first booster club of it's kind). There is a large frustration in Clemson fans because IPTAY just reseated the stadium last year, and a lot of people were very displeased at the results.

Incidentally, "coots and taters" seems to have been around a while, but I only ever regularly hear the terms on tigernet, and the south carolina fan board at rivals. That's cause one of our fans couldn't keep his posts clean. Pathetic.
