    Betts is so deceptively fast. Kept thinking someone was going to catch up to him but they couldn’t. Like his legs were on slow motion compared to the dbs

    I’m so impressed!! We have seen 2 fair catches! The line is blocking well. Defense has a sack. We’re running the ball well and 2AM has found the open man each time. So This is what it looks like when we’re all on the same page at the same time.

    Only hope is that Yant carries that ball a little tighter. I was so scared (or is it scarred) that someone was going to poke that ball out before he got out of bounds

    We hired tom Osborne as special teams coach?! Awesome!

    I’d also add (Milton and Mariota) being able to read the field better and hit receivers where they can make the catch and even gain some yards after catch is huge. I understand the individual plays are more complex, but IMHO Hitting 1 or 2 of those wr’s running open would’ve changed the game.

    Oh overtime as in the extra period. I thought this was about all of the losses we’ve seen over time. Because….that’s a lot.

    While we “should” win handily, what I’ve learned from this team is that we play great enough to beat ranked teams, yet figure out a way to lose. And we play neck and neck to bad teams and either figure out a way to lose or barely escape with a win. If frost stays, and hires a ST coach….who goes? Dawson?

    Timing is everything. If we had one more 7 yard punt we would have won that game.

    martinez had his great plays and his bad. I don’t blame him solely for this loss. Punt return for a touchdown isn’t on him. If that punt went 7 yards and out bounds we might have won that game right there. We have been this close every year. With every team. We play close enough to lose with top 25 or down teams like Illinois

    It’s not funny but I’m laughing at what just happened. How can you not laugh at something like that. We chased a decoy. Special teams!! lol

    But that wouldn’t be adrian Martinez. That’s who he is. Beautiful pass, crappy over throw. Miss a wide open TE, then great touch pass to someone just getting open. Run out of bounds for a 2 yard loss instead of throwing it away, then breaking 2 tackles for a 50 yard run.

    Yeah, but I was still kinda expecting someone to scoop it up and run down the sidelines for 6, with the way our special teams have been playing.
