I get it...but I don't like it I understand why but when the majority of your team is back again next season and you have the chance to let Tarin Smith, Nick Fuller and Jacob Hammond a few more games to help them going forward you should do it Same thoughts...I don't see the negative unless of course someone gets hurt.

Going to disagree with you here.Coaching goes to Nebraska ....BECAUSE..........Iowa has better players. Iowa has underperformed mightily the last few years with far better talent than the Huskers. However, regardless of how we might view these factors.......... If there is one single game ALL SEASON that I personally want to win......it is far and away this game today ! Ha! Yeah, Fran likes losing it out there! Iowa tends to start hot and regress as the season goes on but I think a lot of that is just playing in the Big Ten...if you are not one of the top 2/3 teams in the conference you tend to end up pretty beaten down.

This is 2015 recruiting class as Im sure you already know. If we were to compare the current players I'm sure Iowa has the better recruits and more talent. Yeah, I knew... Fran has brought in better players, there is no doubt about that. I think he is a better coach, not by a ton but just better. I think this game today is close (Vegas does too) but I can see NU winning and ruining Iowa's chances at a bid. Side note...I LOVE MSU today vs the Illini.

Because of all the lying of height/weight/speed/bench numbers in high school...we kind of trick ourselves as to what we think is tall/big/fast/strong

I dont think anyone is criticizing Ameer saying they can do better but ya, i doubt many people here could touch any of the combine numbers but you never know. I wouldnt be shocked to find some quick guys who could do a sub 5.0 40 yard I think you are 100% correct...I think that there might be a few on this site that were just under 5.0. And sorry, I did not mean that anyone was bagging on AA...I just LOVE the "numbers" that some of the posters put up! haha It just truly goes to show how big the gap is from these guys at the combine and "common folk" Exactly! These guys have spent the last few years AND the last 3 months, just training for this... Yet we have some common folk that will swear they ran a 4.4 in HS

I agree...years back I was soooo into the wins and the losses. Now, for me, Saturday is about the game because of everything that goes along with it... Take a 2:30 game... 9am: grabbing a beer waiting for friends to show up. Head down to Lincoln and basically just rehash stories and have a drink Park and either set up a tailgate or hit O street or the Rail Yard Its 4-5 hours of fun before the game even starts.
