Sort of...but it is way more likely to assume that Miles will have a team NOT make the dance. It really isn't "bipolar" to think they won't make the dance...especially since their lone conference win (I think) is at home vs one of the worst teams in the nation. But I still think that if they win out at home, they are in. That is all the need to do.

This is a bad loss in the sense that NU was favored and Garza was out (right, he did not play at all) It is not a bad loss in the sense that it will look bad on the resume. It is a bad loss in the sense that other teams will cleary slap a zone on the Skers a bit more now. For the Miles lovers (you know who you are) this one is tough to defend, it really is. For the Miles haters (you know who you are) this is the type of game that is served up for you to use to defend your stance.

I had a Jeep Wrangler with a soft top and I never locked my doors...I didn't want it getting sliced open. Of course one night after ahem..."making love" to a girl who had just "broken up" with her now hubby, I woke up and she said he had tried calling her 18 times...of course she was busy (wink)...I went to my Jeep to take her home and what a shocker...the totally unlocked jeep had a huge slice in the soft top...with nothing taken at all. Also, the calling on a drunk driver...I mean...I don't know about that. I am guess 99% of the people you think are drunk or probably just distracted for a second or two. Unless it is super obvious but I have been driving for a long a$$ time and I can think of maybe 3 times where I saw someone driving and thought "Yep...that dude is hammered"

I think that is the opposite of your point. In the NBA (best players in the world) they are 75-80%...so you would expect college players (Most of whom are not going to be in the NBA and are not the best players in the world) to make less...which they did. Should...6th graders shoot the same as NBA players? They are call Free Throws because there is no one guarding you...not because they are actually "free" buckets.

MD has two NBA (first rounders, maybe) Vegas had the line dead on (shocker) no reason to panic if you are a Husker fan BUT it does suck to see this happen again...especially with a veteran team. But again, they are 11 wins away from being in for sure. 5 of those will be Rutgers, PSU and one more against Illinois. So they need 6 more "real" wins

None of this matters...all they need to do is win at home and not lose to Rutgers, Illinois or PSU. They lose even one of those games and they are out.

I think it makes sense that he would say that. And it probably is a little bit smaller now, especially in basketball.

I used to think rankings were a joke (and at the start they were) then they seemed to get much much more accurate. With that said I would love to see how the rankings went if Rivals/247 didn't know who had offered the kid and where that kid committed.
