Riley doesn't call plays anymore so if they win it all this year and he retires it is safe to assume that Langs would be next man up...he calls the plays and would not be the HC calling the plays. So yeah, I would be fine with that. Well...that is why he was hired, right? Because of what he had done in the past.

Again...it is not my narrative. There is nothing to pretend. It is a fact. He is a career 500 coach. Now, I have not done the math but if he wins out this season maybe he goes up to 600, I am not sure. If he does that will be what he is...a 600 career coach.

Right now I hope Mediocre Mike does one of two things... 1. Goes 11-1, makes the playoff, wins the NC and retires. 2. Finishes the season with some lame record and retires.

Right now this is how I would rank them. 1. Wisconsin 2. Iowa 3. Minnesota 4. Nebraska 5. Purdue 6. Illinois 7. Northwestern Teams I see trending up: Minny, Purdue and Illinois Teams I see staying the same: Wisconsin, Iowa and Nebraska Teams I see trending down: Northwestern

Coaches that I think NU could have gotten with ease if SE didn't have a raging hard-on for Mediocre Mike. These are not in any order Campbell (At ISU now) Franklin (Oh how I wanted him) Herman Fuente Fleck (would have been an easy get 3 years ago but a HUGE gamble at that time) Brohm Taggert I think any of them would have come to NU and I think they are all better choices than Mediocre Mike.

Besides that fact that Mediocre Mike is our coach...mine was the QB sneak. Why bother with all the shift and motions if you know you are sneaking it...why bring "stupid" into play. Of course Riley lovers will not place blame on him because they never do but there is no reason to shift and motion like that when you are sneaking it anyway. So THAT was my shaking head moment. What was yours?

This is really pretty accurate. TA would have passed for about 50% too but he also would have had about 60 yards rushing.
