  1. She is smart not to do it...and she knows it will be a blood bath for her
  2. Shoot, the link wasn't working, it was on Yahoo today. The girl work a "some people are gay, get over it" shirt. Well, The Tinker case pretty much covers this from back in the 60's but the part that is foolish...she went home for the day because she was upset that they wanted her to put on a different shirt. So the lesson is...when you are upset you go home.
  3. She can't figure out how to conduct personal and professional business from two different email accounts like everybody else, so she runs down this one-address-but-I-have-to-own-the-server-because-FOIA rabbit hole and then ends up sending and receiving classified information from an unclassified server. This is hilarious
  4. Someday, probably in my lifetime, people are going to realize Obama was a pretty decent president. Not great, sometimes not good, but overall a good president. They're going to realize that, while some people did vote for him because he's Black, more people voted against him because he was Black - meaning he wasn't elected "because he was Black." He was elected because he was the best choice available.Twice.I'm ready for that day when we realize how good we had it under Obama, and for the day we finally start to wonder how much better it could have been had Congress not knee-jerk responded to every single thing he did with "NO!" instead of compromise.I'm just hoping that when people look back at this time with a softer heart, it isn't with regret based on the awfulness of the current president.Your are right but pretty much ever president is remembered better and better as time goes on.
  5. Oregon state is Kosovo...old news
  6. So true! The debates will be awesome!
  7. That's even worse than being part of something like a savings and loan scandal
  8. I see gender because I know that women are greater than men arein basically every possible category. But to me every person is beautiful. That is why gender plays a role...because women are the stronger and smarter ones.
  9. What's that? Not being biased at all based on gender? Morian said it should not matter at all and I am trying to copy that. So Hillary and trump are both "it". Try it, try getting rid of labels. I think you will feel free. Form now on, please call me, it. I don't want to see color, or height, or gender, or intelligence, I just want to see people. Don't you think that's the right way? I just want everybody to be looked at the same Exactly the same Don't you think that's correct? No more difference!!! I didn't say gender doesn't matter at all. I said it doesn't matter for the office of president. You've been going on and on (and on) with this Hillary Clinton is a man crap, since before I ever said anything about gender. It's weird as hell and goes beyond not liking her. You seem to be implying she's a man because she's average-looking and not a beauty queen, and in that case you're doing the same thing to all women. Now you're going to reply that you wouldn't ever dare say anything mean to a woman because you love and respect them all.On the 2nd amendment topic, no, Clinton does not want to repeal it. Nor does/did Obama, nor do the vast majority of Democrats/Independents. This is crazy uber-conservative propaganda. So now you are upset that I love and respect people equally? I think the number of the amendment is supposed to be spelled out. I just think that we are all beauty queens.

  11. This is a discussion that comes up a lot during some of my lectures. How educated should one have to be to vote. I get very interesting answers. When I asked if you were a teacher the other day you said no - what's the deal TeacherCD? I don't like labels

  13. Hey, how is that "new" show by the way?
  14. I really can't see anyone taking away guns and I don't even care about guns at all but I just can't see that happening.

  16. She? She. I edited it...sorry, I don't see or label gender. It doesn't matter when running for president
  17. She? Sorry, read that wrong. Good post
  18. It surprises me too… But even looking over the course of history when you had the whig party, the constitutional party, the free-soilers, the American party which I think was the know nothing party, they really don't stick around very long, had it not been for the Civil War I'm not even sure if the Republican Party would've actually made it. I think there was an American Democrat party to for a while and maybe the American nativists? But I'm not sure on those… But yeah it does surprise me that there hasn't been another party that has stuck around. We're looking at 170 years now with pretty much two parties
  19. Only if she hunted him down and shot him.
  20. Which one would you rather sit down and have a drink with? Seems like even that would be a touch choice. They both seem horrible and unlikable.
  21. Ha! Sadly I am sure he is at another district making 200K a year.
  22. So, people are upset about the election for the most important position in the country and your conclusion is that they get upset at the drop of the hat over anything? That isn't a logical conclusion. There are things worthy of getting involved in and upset about. The direction our country is headed and who its leader might be are valid things to be invested in. You've said a bunch of people in a thread were going to leave the country if Trump gets elected and when asked who, you said you would move out of the country. It is logical to me!
  23. Most JC kids go that route because of grades. Most kids that are going to play but can't get D1 and end up at small schools do so because they love playing and are happy to go play at Hastings or UNK and stuff like that. Most kids with the grades that still want to play don't do the JC route. It is a little different with basketball
