  1. We'll be fine but to be honest with you Bo needs to work on his sideline behavior and we all know that. Personally I would have told Bo where to stick it. It has nothing to do with being a sissy or whatever. It has something to do with respect. I'm glad Pearlman showed Bo what is good for the goose is good for the gander. But if I was a top recruit and saw Bo ripping on Tmart......... adios.
  2. It's hard to be a Husker bball fan. Generally they play crappy against crappy teams and get beat and then they play good against good teams and get beat. Doc's here for a couple more years regardless.
  3. I guess she was a good ball handler in her own right.
  4. A lot of peeps have never coached a down and know more than Watson.....
  5. A great article for sure. I sure don't see this as some kind of "Rudy" story however. Woodhead has talent. Go to Youtube and watch some of his highlites. He has that "it" factor.
  6. Say what you want but in Nebraska there is only one seat, Bo is sitting in it, and to be honest with you it is getting a tad warm. That and add his national image to the equation and I seriously doubt anyone is really all that interested that has a better opportunity.
  7. I forgot..... Green was also playing in his home town ..... Do you think anyone else was a tad disappointed?
  8. Green was the leading rusher for the West..... 2 carries for 11 yards!!! Starling was involved in 3 plays I think.

  10. 12 sachs? What was the love fest with Kessler? The coach from the west must not know there is a running game. Aaron Green has some speed and moves for sure. Some of the guys committing seem to be just making up their minds. Love the attention.....
  11. It's nice of you to haul your team to the game.....
  12. I must have missed it..... who did she play for?
  13. I'd hire a Hawkins before a Watson anyday! Hot coordinators do not insure success as hc's and Watson is not even lukewarm at best! NU is still training Bo, as an example, and he has a long ways to go. Watson is here until Bo says bye bye. Until he thinks it might effect his job he will keep Wats. Some of you need to stop and think how you would react if someone you didn't know told you that your buddy was a pos and needed to be fired from the company you and he just made solvent! Good luck with that..... I'm not agreeing to retain a few of these guys but realize that replacing them is not always the answer either. Hopefully changes will be made without dismissing coaches and their families. Just my 2 cents...
  14. If our offensive woes continue I'll be happy just getting bowl eligible next year.
  15. Bo is not forthcoming about anything in the Husker program except for the color of the uniforms.
  16. Draw plays work better farther out than on the 3 yard line. Lining up in the shotgun basically took one of their most productive players out of the equation. I'm not disagreeing with the pass but probably would have left the qb under center and rolled him out. Then again that may have not worked either. But when you have TCU's defense on it's heels by running right at them I think I would keep doing it.
  17. Bo has a lot of things to decide upon. Dismissing Watson from the program is not an easy decision and if Bo seeks any advise from TO it will be to retain him. Right now there are to many high profile coordinator jobs open and it might be tough to get one that would be considered a step up. Short of possibly moving Beck up to oc I don't see a change coming.
  18. Agreed that the receiver was wide open but the result still was no points. I still couldn't believe it when they lined up in the shotgun!! Hindsight is 20/20 but sometime play callers get to wrapped up in out guessing themselves. When it comes down to one final play I think I would be going with my best stuff.
  19. Having a line than can block, runners that hold on to the ball, receivers that can run routes and catch balls, a qb that makes wise decisions and good throws, an oc that calls plays that lean towards the strength of your offense and having the entire offense remember the snap count generally helps.
  20. Add to the fact that the Husker's were going in for another score to make it 24 zip when TMart threw an ill advised pass that was intercepted......
  21. Everybody acts like Pearlman, Osborne and Bo are continents apart and somehow must communicate through the press. I am sure that Pearlman's public statement following the A&M game was not a knee jerk reaction and had been discussed already. I have a feeling it was either Pearlman or the Big 12 office. If Bo didn't like seeing it in public then he probably should have taken his tantrum with TMart behind closed doors also. What's good for the goose is good for the gander. If Bo wants to see more discipline in his program it needs to start at the top.
  22. Word is that if Watts does leave that Bo is leaning towards someone on this board as the new OC!
  23. I think I am correct and these votes were the final totals. I read were they ended Dec 20th. Without a doubt Bradford and Suh were incredible. I don't think I have ever seen 2 rookies come in and basically change their whole team's demeanor. The Rams still have a ways to go but the Lions could be something to contend with as soon as next season. No doubt the NFC north is going to be something else next year. I'm still a "Go Pack Go" fan and always will be but enjoy watching teams that have a lot of Huskers on their roster.
