I could care less what they are for or against, but there is no excuse whatsoever for their protesting at funerals. None, nada, zilch. These morons are a good example of what happens when these right wing kooks start taking the BS that they spew too seriously. Personally, I'd like to see them all locked in their "church" as it's burnt to the ground. Freedom of speech should not apply when you are talking about making a scene at someone's f'ing funeral-let alone someone who died fighting for their country(regardless of how stupid the particular war may be). How many of you have been to NYC? Granted, it would be a real crap bowl game to get stuck with, but Manhattan can be a hell of a lot of fun, not to mention that it's New Year's weekend! It's obviously a huge culture shock for most Nebraskans, but give it a try. I was there on business and stayed over the weekend-it has the largest variety of neighborhoods, restaurants, bars, theaters(etc etc etc) that you'll ever find anywhere. The variety of food is absolutely amazing. I spent an entire weekend doing a walking tour of everywhere I could between south Central Park and Battery Park(with a subway cheat or two thrown into the mix). I had an absolute blast, and thought that the people were great. Stay away from the tourist trap area(Times Square), and you'll have a great time in mid/lower Manhattan.

There would be nothing better than knocking off UConn, but depending on where the seeds land-we may have to get through Stanford to do it-which is a long, long ways from being an easy task. We've had a few close/comeback games, so this is going to really be a sweat assuming they get deep in the tourney.

Don't miss... I dont think you have to worry, traditionally (and stereotypically) those of Israeli descent are very precise. Good, as long as they don't come crying to us for help afterward... Don't kid yourself. If Israel makes a mess, we'll end up right smack in the middle of it-guaranteed. The only good thing about that is that it's well known that would be the case, so that tends to keep other middle eastern countries from rolling over them(so far). Iran is a loose canoon though, and we can't exactly just b!tch slap them like we can North Korea when they act up.

To say the very least, it's going to be an interesting spring/summer. Going into the season, we'll have Lee who hasn't practiced since December, and Green who will have led the offense through spring practice. Not exactly an ideal situation considering how "green" Green looked this year. Also, assuming that Lee really was hurt that badly all season, we don't really know what he can do. Barring an epic spring and pre-season of practice by Green, I still think the job is Lee's to lose.

Given that this team has quit and/or is completely lost and/or just wants the season over with and/or is playing a much better opponent(puke), I'll say that they quietly lose by 20 and put an end to this nightmare.

Waaaaiiiiitttt a minute here-I said the worst. I think you could find a couple of really disasterous bottom dwellers who might sweat a game with UConn, but KU? Come on, any mens team that is remotely decent would pound them, and pound them ugly.
