  1. As far as Eric Martins first Personal Foul goes-about 9 minutes left in the 2nd quarter is when it happens. It's the KO return where Niles ran East to West and there was a HUGE block on an A&M player. Jim Ebke, #32, threw that beautiful block. It was clean. What I saw was Eric running towards that direction because Niles was running there, so he was obviously trying to continue the upfield blocking. I did not see him make contact with ANYONE after Niles ran out of bounds, you can see Eric close to the A&M sideline but he starts to veer back towards our sideline and the screen pans out. So you don't see ANYTHING that he would receive a PF for. Only thing is if he did something on the way back towards the sideline but again-they do nothing to show his actions. It was a dead ball PF so it;d have to have transpired on the way back... I'm telling you-if the Colorado game is CLOSE, as in 14 pts or less, look for the zebras to aid the buffs as much as possible. The Big XII does NOT want NU in the championship game. And I do believe Dan Beebe will do whatever it takes to keep that from happening. Why some of you ask? Well let's see, how bout the motive that we are THE team that nearly cost him his job. OF COURSE he's going to have bias against us, He has already shown that by Eric Martin STILL being the only player to receive a suspension despite NUMEROUS other flagrant acts against players. Multiple helmet-to-helmet hits have gone unflagged and unsuspended. Multiple plays where Nebraska players safety is at risk. And multiple questionable choices in the review game have shown this bias. Enough is enough. And the reason Bo and the University will not come out and say the officiating sucks is because of the fines and it is against the Big XII's rules to criticize officials to the media. For those of you wanting Bo to be more Tom-like; that's what he's showing when he does this. Restraint. He is extremely passionate during the games but after that he shows he can make good decisions in the best interest of the team and the players.
  2. He's about to become only the 3rd freshmen QB to rush for 1000 and throw for 1000-IF he stays healthy he can do it...
  3. For whatever reason, most Ags have been thinking that it's an automatic six if Tannehill recognizes Man and hits Fuller. They are extremely quick to forget that we have 2 pro-caliber corners, and that even when they are beat, make great adjustments to the ball for either a pass breakup or an int. I would say that no one else in the country does what we do in the secondary. If you want to see how great our pass D is, watch the Mizzou game on ESPN3. Gabbert had no where to throw and when did he complete something, they were through extremely small passing windows and really were a testament to his accuracy. I have a feeling we'll be seeing a frustrated Tannehill SHOULD they go through the air. If Sherman is smart, he'll try and stick to the ground game.
  4. We could jump them because we have a conference championship game and the pac/big 10 do not. This gives us the edge. You also have to pick your poison-do we want to play a highly ranked ok st (it's very hard to beat a team twice in one year), or do we want Oklahoma to win out and it be the matchup we've all been praying for, but potentially ending any MNC dreams that MIGHT exist should chaos occur...hmmm...
  5. That and our inability to bury teams like ISU and KU. Those games being close certainly do not help us. I find it hard to believe if those games were blow-outs, it would have made a difference. Sorry, with one loss, we're not going to jump any undefeated team. Simple as that. Ubben never said we'd jump a one loss team-he's saying we could put ourselves in good position to be THE one loss team to go should it come down to that.
  6. They were at a 2:30 game last week and will be this week as well.... just sayin...
  7. I think K State attempted 4 passes the entire game-sticking with the same 2 offensive players for 3/4th of the game...
  8. They may even take the throne for worst pac-10 team....or 12-pac or whatever it's gonna be!
  9. Didn't Burkhead fumble both last week and this week, but NU recovered both? I don't remember him fumbling last week- last fumble I remember was Texas and that was unusual of him. He's a really, really tough kid he dropped a for sure touchdown pass on a wheel route against texas. he is a hell of a player tho.
  10. If you go to espn3.com and look at the games on Sat., you'll see a click next to it that says "(subject to B******)". If you click that link, it will tell you whether the game is blacked out in your area or not. I'm in Denver and it's not blacked out here. Ya-blackouts are only for the games that are being shown in your area, in which case you wouldn't need to use espn3 to watch it unless you didn't want to go to a bar or something or it was on espn and you don't have cable/satellite, etc....
  11. also...espn3 is on xbox now. so if your xbox or your sons or your friends or whoever has an xbox in the house has it and has xbox live than you're golden. I'm rewatching the mizzou game and it looks awesome.
  12. Yes, it was a good October, but we still lost to a team we shouldnt have. I can handle losing to good teams in a hard fought game. I can't handle losing to a team we should be easily because of a mental letdown. I agree, ideally we would never have the mental breakdown game that we did against Texas, but I will take one of those over the 2 we had last year in October...
  13. Here's to going 3-1 in October after going 2-2 his first two seasons! We all know Bo has his teams playing great football in November, hopefully this continues. We were 3-1 in '08 with the only loss to Bob Stoop's boys and last year we went 4-0. The schedule is very favorable for us to make him 11-1 in November, hopefully he can keep everyone focused and we execute how we all know we can. This should be a very fun final month!
  14. You could argue the same for us - we nearly lost to SDSU AND lost to a mediocre Texas squad. Which Husker team shows up Saturday - interestingly enough, both of those subpar performances were at home...
  15. Our version of the spread is a little more dynamic. And our run game isn't only bubble screens left and right.
  16. We'll be at Helenback this weekend
  17. ALso, ESPN3 isn't allowed on all ISP-Providers...
  18. He didn't lead with the crown of his head like Dan Beebe said he did...
  19. Also, the last 2 teams who we've faced who were unbeaten received their first loss thanks to us. Here's to making it 3/3 (Technically 5/5 cuz WKU and Idaho were both undefeated when they faced us ..... )
  20. Well last year they chose not to go to their bowl game even though they had 6 wins. 2 wins for them makes them bowl eligible and gives them a total of 839. If we win out the reg. season we have 838. We could lose the big XII championship and win our bowl game to have 840 wins and pass them. If we lose this weekend against Misery or drop a game later, we most likely won't be playing in the Big XII Championship and the bowl game win would only tie. This is also based on them only winning 2 games and than not going to the bowl game pero we'll see.
