  1. Nebraska would routinely dominate that conference. We have unfinished business to take care of with Texas.
  2. The stats below compare season totals for Alabama's starting 4 defensive linemen, Florida's starting 4 defensive linemen, Texas' starting 4 defensive linemen, and Ndamukong Suh. How could 1 person have virtually the same stats as the cumulative front 4 of the top 3 defenses? The answer is that he dominates more than anyone else in the game: Alabama Season Totals 98tkl - 23.5tfl - 9.5sk - 20qbh - 5pbu - 0int - 1ff - 3bk Florida Season Totals 112tkl - 33tfl - 14sk - 48qbh - 5pbu - 0int - 1ff - 0bk Texas Season Totals 116tkl - 25.5tfl - 15.5sk - 10qbh - 7pbu - 0int - 2ff - 0bk Suh Season Totals 82tkl - 23tfl - 12sk - 24qbh - 10pbu - 1int - 1ff - 3bk How did he not win the Heisman Trophy?
  3. Texas is the New York Yankees of College Football
  4. I have a feeling Watson is here to stay for a while.
  5. I'm surprised the QB job is still getting questioned this late in the season. Cody Green should have taken over a LONG time ago (After the VT game).
  6. I tried to tell you guys a while ago LOL
  7. How do you see this game play out if Cody Green was playing instead of Zac Lee? Any different? Or the same?
  8. I'll be at 72nd and Dodge when Nebraska beats Texas. We need everyone to go!
  9. Nebraska is going to beat Texas on Saturday. There are too many fans on this board already counting on Nebraska to lose. Texas has not been impressive all season long. Texas A&M put up 39 points and over 500 yards on them. OU played them close too. Texas is not invincible like many people seem to think. The NU offense will put up a few TD's and a couple TD's will come from special teams/defense. Texas has no running game so they will be forced to throw. Expect Colt McCoy to be heavily pressured by the NU front (SUH, Crick, etc.). Colt McCoy will be sacked 5+ times. The NU defense will hold Texas to less points. Texas is going down. I will bump this thread to the top in one week when the Nebraska Cornhuskers are the Big 12 North Champions.
  10. The Nebraska Cornhuskers will be top 15 once they beat Texas on Saturday.
  11. He will pass for 250+ yards and 4+ TD's against Texas
  12. Nebraska would have covered the point spread if that TD wasn't scored.
  13. Our offense will be better off with Cody Green starting.
  14. Should an offense be running Option plays if the QB is not a running threat? Absolutely not. Do you see teams teams using the Option if their QB (Daunte Culpepper for example) is not a running threat? Absolutely not. So why does Nebraska's current offense run the Option? We do not have a running threat like Tommie Frazier or Eric Crouch
  15. NO - If if our defense was average that would not make Zac Lee a quality passing QB. He would still overthrow/underthrow receivers, etc. This would not make a difference at all.
  16. http://www.examiner.net/law/x206838184/Ind...cers-exonerated Independence police officers exonerated Officials claim no wrong doing in Buffalo Wild Wings disturbance Independence, MO — Kristy Powell claimed Independence police officers beat her up and wrongfully arrested her while she watched a college football game on TV at an Independence restaurant last month. But the internal police investigation resulted in the “exoneration of all involved officers,” according to a statement by Capt. John Cato. Extensive information was collected from officers, patrons and employees of the restaurant who were there during the incident. Cato’s statement said there was a complaint filed that claimed officers “wrongfully arrested the complainant” and used excessive force and failed to inform the person arrested of the charges. Powell, who lives in Independence but is a native of Omaha, Neb., was watching the Nebraska Cornhuskers play the Missouri Tigers on Oct. 8. Powell and her family were watching the game at Buffalo Wild Wings at 20110 E. Jackson Drive, according to a report by the Omaha-based TV news station KMTV. They started cheering after a Nebraska touchdown. A Tiger fan took objection and started cussing and telling them to shut up. “Watch your mouth,” Powell said. “My kids are here.” But the Tiger fan, who apparently identified himself as a police officer, allegedly said “I don’t care. I’m a police officer and I can do what I want.” Soon, officers showed up at the restaurant. An officer approached her. Powell said she did nothing wrong. Then the officer allegedly slammed her against the wall and placed handcuffs on her. Powell told KMTV she fully cooperated and didn’t know why the officer acted that way.
