  1. Holding Bo accountable for something his employee did 3,000 miles away. And likely did under his stead. You know, normal Real world stuff. Edited for accuracy. Link. Nothing is true on here without one. Edit. Your post is garbage by the way. I don't care how bad of a coach you think someone is I think saying that it is likely he covered up a felony committed by his employee is way out of line.
  2. He will entertain offers this winter. I would bet you that more than one school will ask permission to speak with Bo Pelini. That's similar to predicting the sun will rise in the East but yes. Literally all we have at this point is that. Predictions. So I think mine is a bit more likely than Bo being fired for cause because of habits Carl may or may not have that may or may not have been going on while he was employed at UNL. I was just giving you one example. I don't think the most likely scenario is that, so thanks for putting words in my mouth. I do think the most likely scenario is Nebraska is being coached in its bowl game by a coordinator of your preference and they're coach searching after that. Never one time said that you said it was the most likely of scenarios did I??? So who's putting words into who's mouth???

  5. It's not black and white and not that simple. You are absolutely ridiculous if you think it is. Don't insult my intelligence and go google the word "duplicitous". While you're busy making emoticons, you might want to ready yourself for the very real possibility of Bo Pelini not being coach here next year. I'm stealing this from Knapplc from a different thread, but you better hope to Hell Carl Pelini wasn't doing blow at FAU. Because if he was, I will goddamn guarantee he was doing it at Lincoln. And if Bo knew about that and hid it, that is a "fired with cause" offense. So the next time you want to pretend to be a genius with all these insider nuances, you might want to give seeing the forest for the trees a try. Your issue here is there is a lot of ifs and buts. The other issue is that this is very hard to prove even if it did happen. Color me unworried even IF Carl was doing blow down at FAU. Again let me highlight the key word, IF. So if you want to again use the phrase "real possibility" make sure it is not based on HUGE "what-ifs" and things of that nature. Ready myself? Okay. Nebraska football is going to go on with or without Bo Pelini. So even if he isn't retained, (which make no mistake if he isn't at NU next year it is because he chose to leave himself. Which I could see because Harvey has had it out for him ever since the Board of Regents told him in 2010 that Bo Pelini was just as important to The University as HP is. I'm half thinking Harvey may make it difficult for Bo to want to stay), I'll be just fine. I promise.

  8. Scrolling to the bottom and I don't see it. Am I not looking hard enough?
  9. Again. Deion Jones. A two-star guy deep in Louisiana that no one wanted to take notice of. A player ULL was very interested in. He SUCKED apparently. So much so he commited to Nebraska, because, you know, we suck. Deion had had a great senior season, as our staff knew he would, and Deion bolted when LSU threw him an offer. You know when that offer came? November 20th. A late offer? What? Now, Deion is having a pretty decent year on the LSU defense, splitting time fairly equally with fellow 2012 linebacker Kwon Alexander who was regarded as one of the best linebackers in that class. So, is there anything else I can disprove for you haters today? Edit: I decided to bold your statement because I'm confused. Major talent? Can you give me your definition of major talent? Are you trying to go off what Rivals/Scout tells you is major talent? Because that is one flawed, biased system my friend. Did you not read the part where i stated bo can recognize talent?????? ok we were onto a guy LSU stole from us it fits my point also. just because i made a statement doesnt mean its never happened, Im sorry you feel the need to put out every message board fire you see. Major talent in my opinion is what some guys call prototype height weight speed guys that translate to the next level. We have talent on the roster but how many are day 1 draft day type of guys? Bo's recruiting classes are great foundation peices but other Lavonte David how many guys on defense have been plug and play guys in the NFL. Our recruiting classes would make many teams happy and im not saying the roster is bare but we lack players that are game changers.Try to discredit me all you want but we all know there are different classes of athletes and until we get the guys who can play anywhere anytime we will continue this long drag of not being able to get over the hump Also I never said anything about our team or talent SUCKING or a guy SUCKS because he is interested in ULL because sometimes you gotta like the girl who likes you Vincent Valentine, RG44, and Avery Moss are guys with the potential to fit that bill you described. If we get Bond which isn't out of the question we will be a defense littered with guys that have all the potential in the world to play on Sundays.

  11. I can't help but wonder what happened to him when he fell out of the ring. He landed on the floor. Thanks for clearing that up.
  12. Why do you say no? I misread the thread title as "...last two years". As for the last two games? Like, Minnesota and Northwestern? Two poor teams that ate us alive with their running game, one with their 5th string RB? Meh. 10-4
  13. I can't help but wonder what happened to him when he fell out of the ring.
  14. He's got an NU offer and I believe a visit is in the works.
  15. I agree with you 1000000000000000000000000%. I have said many times that we have "out-evaluated" everybody since the 2011 cycle. There isnt many programs that find talent under rocks better than this staff.
  16. Like in 2010 and 2011 where we finally had top 25-20 classes? Remember, those guys are sophomores and redshirt freshman now. actually most of those highly ranked prospects are at other teams now. I think we have a serious issue in this years recruiting and going over the recruits who are still interested in NU, its looking bleak. If you want to start bashing on recruiting, maybe you should be intelligent before you do it. The recruits we have offered now are the only recruits we are going to offer the entire rest of the year, aren't they? Well we're just screwed. Fire Bo. This staff can't evaluate talent and can't get any on campus. Go look at Ameer Abdullah's recruiting profile. Go look at Imani Cross' recruiting profile. Would you be so kind as to read me the dates those profiles were created? Because I'm 100% certain Imani's was made late late December and Ameer's early January. So if you want to keep grasping at straws and freaking out over the recruiting situation in early November, you might want to study a little bit before you try to argue any further.
  17. No one questions the young front 7 going forward, but what about the secondary next year? I really hope we move Gerry back to Safety. He's done a good job at LB this year but I think we have other guys to fill those spots and I don't think any of our Safeties have played as well as we need them to. Could really use a guy who can close like he can back there, IMO. Either that or he slides over to fill Evans spot at Nickel which wouldn't be bad either. Other than that, we only lose Green at Safety so not much will be different. DMagic, here we come! At corner, Mitchell is pretty decent. He's gotten burned a couple times but also made some good plays. He doesn't seem to get thrown at a lot which is surprising considering how well SJB has played. After him, we're hoping Rose or Davie steps up so definitely a question mark. Joseph is out there and possibly CJax back to CB??? I like the idea of CJax back to CB. Didnt think about Gerry in the nickel. I think CJax would be a great Nickelback as well because of his tackling ability.
  18. Chase Harper never even made it to campus. Had grade problems. Giving my 2 cents as well I suppose: Cody Green had one BCS offer to play QB and that was Nebraska. Washington just really never worked out for whatever reason. Chris Williams was not dedicated to rehabbing his knee and thought he should have been playing when the coaches wanted him to heal up. Also there are rumors of extra-cirricular activity going on off the field. Brion Carnes, we had a guy in TMart that was just better than him. Plain and simple better than he was. Could be a reason that Brion hasn't played very much for UNI this season either. Chase Harper hurt what we wanted to do offensively but as stated above he had grade issues. Braylon Heard hurt bad. Only way to put it. Chase Rome quit the team twice now right? Once during the season that the unity counsel bailed him out of because they knew we needed him for that year and once when he finally removed himself from the team. Attitude issue and he thought he was God's gift to football from what we have heard. Aaron Green, could we use him? Absolutely. But the fact of the matter is he didn't RS when asked to, didn't come to work hard, and got beat out by a kid that is currently in the top ten for all purpose yards in the nation. Ryan Klatcho, I am not going to say as I don't want to be wrong because it becomes a serious defamation case if anyone does and he has certain privacy rights. But we can say that we dont want him on our team. Tyler Moore, a few in the minority said that he was getting beat out in fall camp by Sirles. I didn't believe it but couldn't disprove it at the time, but based on how the two have played at their respective schools I think they should pat themselves on the back as they were right. That could have added up to a lot more frustration for Tyler. Todd Peat Jr as stated had back problems and McDonalds problems. He would not be playing anyways in my opinion but depth never hurts. Bubba Starling is comical to put on this list. Again, only put on there as if you can read above to show that this class didn't turn out to be so great based on the rankings. Take it EZ-E You were typing your reply as I was. My appologies
  19. I would agree, but Bando does seem a half step behind at times or shows some hesitation even though he's where he should be. he shows a lot of promise and based on what i've seen, Santos shouldn't be taking any snaps from him. I really think he has a TON of potential and will eventually be a HUGE playmaker later on in his career. What is everyone's thoughts on Gerry. He played a lot early, but now doesn't see the field much. anybody have any info? No info here, but our LB depth is going to be scary good here the next few years and I forgot all about Gerry.
  20. No one questions the young front 7 going forward, but what about the secondary next year? Corey Cooper is just a junior and Leroy Alexander is just a freshman. Both have played a ton this year and I see them as our safeties going forward. CJax needs to find a home. I would like to give a shout out to PaulCrewe as he was always a fan of CJax at CB and I now believe that CJax should be a CB as well. Jonathon Rose is a name that you'll hear a lot of and at times in practice he has been our best player in the secondary. The issue with him is that he plays too risky at CB and is prone to getting burned on double moves from what I have heard. Joshua Mitchell is also just a junior. We have heard very good things about Daniel Davie and hopefully he sees the field down the stretch here. I do however expect to see a few JUCO corners popping up here in November and December.

  22. We are loaded with young talent at LB. Let's not forget that we also have guys like Courtney Love and Marcus Newby sitting on our bench with RS on. The future is very bright on defense and I am very excited to see what our unit could be next year. Hopefully we can win out and get to Indy. That would be a dose of experience that would really benefit our young guns.
