But as long as we are bagging on others recruits, other than Rome none of your 4 star recruits were exactly tearing it up on colleges recruiting boards, and jucos are just that, junior college players who don't often become great players at the next level, take Zac Lee for example. Ratings are just ratings when you get right down to it, you never know whats going to happen once the players get on the field. You talk about two other 4* commits in your opening paragraph but then you say ratings are just ratings. Strange. Carter measured 5ft8 when he came up here on his official. When a kid doesnt have such a prolific offers list, etc they are ranked as a 3 star kid. Not a four star kid.

Chris Martin recently committed to Cal. This is relevant to Owa because we thought Chris Martin was going to end up at Florida. So Florida will end up making a late push for Owa. We are still right in it but it isnt looking as bright at the moment. Oregon is going to be a tough one to beat.

Tyler Gabbert-4 stars????? hahahaha Holt-Baylor, SMU, La Tech, and Texas Tech were his offers. Why wouldnt a 4 star have more offers than that?????????? Hunt- Mizzery, KU, and KSU are his offers. Normally that equates to a 3 star kid. Dont worry much about this. No meltdowns should occur.

We also arent taking a huge class either which has hurt us in those rankings. I would like to have one or two of their top targets (Lucas and Sasser) but other than that I would take our class over theirs any day. We knew we had to take a smaller class and the players we have in it are MORE than adaquate.

Have not at all heard anything about Lamb. I dont know how hard we are going after him. Lamb did name NC as his leader awhile back. There has been no mention of him for some time now. I could be wrong but I think the only RBs we will accept are either Bernard (if we can swing him) or Heard.

TG said the other day on 1620 that how are offense was performing "ya know didnt effect his decision as one might think ya know." So what happened with him is up for interpretation to be honest. Curtis Carter hasnt committed anywhere that I know of. If he wants to be close to home I would expect him to go to TCU as Fort Worth is only about 2.5-3 hrs from where he lives. I wish that the kid would go to MU after the comments he made. My boy Eric Martin would have fun with him.

He isnt a top kid. My guess would be that before the rivals rankings came out, they saw he was committed to NU and had a long list of people looking at him, and they knew his pedigree. He is going to have a tough time getting on the field. I really hope that he does get on the field. The kid could be the next Zac Lee.

Wow. I will bet though that with them making a late push for Terry that they dont think Lucas is a lock. Nor do they think that CC is either. With them pushing for a kid like this (who is HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY OVERRATED: not at all worthy of 4 stars) it is only meaning that they have some doubts about their chances at the other two IMO.

It basically means he is a very high 3 star kid. More on him, I am very excited about this kid. He is a physical specimen and is VERY explosive. THIS is the steal of the Big 12. No joke.

It was posted above that he gave it a 7/8. IMO, after following this kids recruiting process he wouldnt want to go to a place like USC. Too much flash, etc. NU would be his perfect fit in every category you look at but location. And I am not just saying that either.

Maybe the fact that he is a True Frosh still learning how to play at the College Level has something to do with his limited amount of PT? Nah! Thats a dumb idea cave. just kidding. Just because they say "big things are expected." Doesnt necissarily mean this coming year.
