  1. It is nice that Purdue isn't gaining yards by running up the middle, although they haven't tried much. Yeah, that's why I'm hesitant to really heap praise about that. Definitely got to give the defense credit, they look great, but I would be way more impressed if we do this to a better team. Hopefully we shut out NW in a few weeks I like that attitude. I just wish that attitude would stop mobile QBs
  2. Randle Always hurt. Can the coaches just Taylor him and tell him he's hurt from now on?
  3. I like that we can field punts. Huge improvement on one of the most annoying things from a year ago.
  4. Man...injuries all over the place today. Not what the team needs from a road trip that was a W before they left Lincoln.
  5. I don't think you have much ground to stand on with your posts about blowing the NCAA... Go read any of tschus posts back from the time of the penalty. You can't act like you're better than everyone else like that, especially when 95% of the posters on this board saw the same thing I saw, which is not what you and tschu saw, and not expect to get some crap about it.
  6. Well go back and look at all the fights you picked in this thread at the time of the penalty. You called the player, one of our best (and cleanest) players, a moron, as well as calling the rest of us "bat sh#t insane". Then you act like you have no idea where the hostility came from. That's why everyone who has to suffer through your posts is frustrated.
  7. No but some are being pretentious "rules guys" and acting like they're better than the rest of us because they have such a "higher understanding" of rules. The rest of us are trying to watch some football and being prevented from doing that by the guys in black and white.
  8. How bout you come back when you're done blowing the NCAA? I still want to know how the ball came flying out if it was helmet to helmet Many of us have the same question. Thus my anger at a certain poster's pretentious attitude about it. I want to know what game you're watching. The same one everyone else is watching. Look, I know you're struggling to find things to bash Nebraska about today, but don't throw SJB under the bus to satisfy your own sick needs.

  11. it's ok you don't understand basic football concepts. No Tmart would have done worse have you not been paying attention since week1 where we almost lost. By what fault of Taylor's did we almost lose? Don't compare week 1 Nebraska with week 5 and 6 Nebraska. No way a fair comparison. I'm going to venture to say I know a thing or two about football. Don't let your anti-Martinez agenda cloud your judgement here. Well he did throw the pick late in the game that led to Wyoming almost making a full comeback. Yes i can compare week 1 to week 5 and 6 because he is a seasoned qb. I'm not anti-Martinez just that let the best qb play. I've seen enough of Tmart to know it's the old song and dance everytime. He makes freshman mistakes still. Opposing teams know how to plan for Tmart because he is so predictable. Bo has already admitted he should've played the younger guys. What i see in TA is someone who can run the offense much better and he is better fit for what we want to run. Tmart was just a gap stop because Bo was too afraid to use another qb. No. Just no. A lot of things that are just wrong above. If Taylor was so predictable Chris Borland wouldn't describe him as "a nightmare to gameplan for and play against." I think our future with TA is bright, but I in no way trust him taking snaps in The Big House. Taylor will read defenses a lot better. Sorry. It's the case. no they aren't. I didn't see Wisconsin in the CCG have a hard time locking Martinez down besides 1 long run. neither did Ohio St. Last time we were in the Big House we lost 45-17. No it's not the case you are just making a lot of assumptions based on opinions. CCG- Still scored 31 points Ohio St- Still scored 38 points Michigan 2011- Were in that game into the fourth, with a worse team than we have currently, AND Martinez was a sophomore. He hadn't fixed his motion yet. His strides as a passer occurred the next offseason Please just stop, you're embarrassing yourself and several of your posts have refuted your previous posts. Good day sir. Martinez motion still not fixed. my posts haven't been refuted only those who think they have. I never said he's Peyton Manning. You have contradicted yourself. Too lazy to go back and quote everything because you clearly cannot be reasoned with. Also, besides that point, way to douche up a thread that was supposed to be wishing someone well. I know I'm not the first to say it but you deserve all the crap coming your way for it. Not classy at all. There is clearly a "Martinez vs. Armstrong" thread. Go there.

  13. You've seen this multiple times by a home team player? I don't think I've ever seen this. I've seen it too. It's like saying it's no big deal. Think about it though, shhhing the crowd on the road doesn't make much sense either. When a visiting team scores, the initial reaction is usually silent anyways. I've never heard a crowd boo a guy as he scores. I'm sure it happens but by far the more common reaction is silence when the other team scores. Bottom line, I'm sure Kenny Bell realized he was at home.
  14. Funny how a lot of QBs get "amped" in 30-40 mph winds.
  15. Are the dancing bears anything like this?
  16. I hate that being a "repeat offender" makes you get fined $100k. Now you know next time he hits someone hard they'll say "well he got fined $100k earlier this year. He obviously cant behave." How about you fine based on the actual "crime" and not a so-called "record" that you, the NFL, made up to begin with. Replay has showed that his Cutler hit was legal, his Delhome (spelling? Don't really care) hit was basically just a facemask-gone-too-far and hardly the worst one I've ever seen. 15 yards was punishment plenty for the second one. The Thanksgiving stomp looked to me like someone stomping around because they're frustrated, but hey, I'll give the NFL that one. The Matt Schaub groin kick was a stretch at best. Would've been a non-issue with any other player.
  17. EDIT: Quoting this was way too complex for me at 2am, and I'm way too lazy to do it now. My comments are in blue as colors I can handle.
  18. I like the one where we line TM up in our own endzone and do play action. Bring that one back. Fooled 'em last year.
  19. I know right? How dare anyone play football these days.
  20. Alabama will most likely get slammed if they're caught by the NCAA. They'd be considered "repeat offenders" until 2014.
  21. Selling on the Eagles. I give it 4 games.
  22. The NCAA. That is, if they ever decide to impose sanctions instead of jizz gurgling the SEC. The most accurate description of anything I've ever seen ever.
  23. I don't get how that's not being humble? He wants to be a qb. If he can't get that chance, then he feels there are better ways to spend his time. He'll probably go be at least reasonably successful doing something else now. The un-humble thing to do would be to take any position you could get just to keep your name in the spotlight.
  24. I remember when the ut defense had like one good game on espn and Diaz was the flavor of the month. I think it was mushmouth (typical) and salsa boy who wouldn't get off his jock. Nothing against the guy besides the Texas thing...but then again, it's Texas...so f#*k those guys.
