  1. Revert back to the original Jaysker moniker and root for Kansas.
  2. It's almost as if people think that there isn't a barrier to learning the offense, even if they didn't run it in HS...
  3. I had Pike, Lue, Hamilton and Petteway; the kitten killer eluded me.
  4. In terms of style and body type, this is probably the more apt comparison.
  5. Would you believe that, statistically, they're almost identical (2014 Shields to 2018 Copeland)? Extrapolated over 40 minutes, Copeland is the better player, but their numbers compared to their minutes played are eerily similar.
  6. That team had one player that got very, very hot, and two role players that produced when they could. This team has 4 legit scoring threats, as well as two role players that fit their roles very, very well. Add two bigs that can produce when the can. '17-'18 over '13-'14 by 10, at least.
  7. Sorry your team got drubbed yesterday.
  8. Oh, it absolutely can't hurt, but they can get to 23 wins and still not have a top 50 win. That, coupled with a weak conference and an RPI in the mid-50s doesn't promise anything, especially if the bubble bursts and a bunch of Cinderellas win conference tournaments.
  9. I wouldn't resign myself to this line of thinking; you might be disappointed on Selection Sunday.
  10. Jordy scores more, has a higher shooting percentage, a much higher FT percentage, grabs more rebounds and doubles the amount of minutes that Duby does. In the end, though, there's a reason Roby is our starting 5.
  11. I wouldn't; Jordy is enough of a threat that he has to be accounted for; Duby is not. If Duby is on the floor, his defender can help clog the lane on drives. Jordy is the better rebounder, too.
  12. Jordy is the better offensive player. This is the first time in the last two weeks we've been in the "First Four Out".
  13. Bracket Matrix takes something like 80 bracketologists and complies a list of which teams will most likely make the tournament based on those brackets. They're based on what a team has done thus far.
  14. We're now in the "Next Four Out" portion of Bracket Matrix.
  15. I don't quite get what the goal of a boycott would have been, but this response from the team is awesome.
  16. Tristan Gebbia at TE is the best idea you've ever had.
  17. Bruce is a fan of Tim because Tim keeps getting boat-raced by Bruce's basketball team.
  18. JPJ should absolutely be All Big Ten. He should also garner some votes for POY, but I doubt it gets to the level of him actually winning the award.
  19. We're in 8 brackets now on Bracket Matrix; last week, it was 2.
  20. Damn it, you're right. I had blocked that game out of my mind, mostly because it turned into a game of NBA Jam.
  21. Martinez, Jurgens, Tannor, Jones, Washington, Honas. Sleeper: Wildeman
  22. The Tier 1 *loss* will look nice at the end, though. (If it stays there).
  23. He's slotted in at OLB, right? Him and Guy Thomas rushing the passer on 3rd Downs could be awful scary.
