  1. If I didn't already own 90% of these games in multiple formats, I'd be on this like white on rice.
  2. Yea, there's definitely smoke to him staying in Cali.
  3. The Eevee evolutions are plentiful, too. Almost every gym around me has at least 1 at it. I need to get a bit stronger before taking gyms on. Nothing but Pidgeys and Ratatta's around me (although I've got a pretty nice Pidgeot from it).
  4. Man, I love it when an adult tries to tell another adult how to spend their time.
  5. Yea, you're probably hoarding all the good ones.
  6. I walked more yesterday playing this game than Wichita State against the Huskers earlier this year
  7. Just be careful if you've got kids playing it; apparently a group of older teens in Missouri (shocking, I know) were using the app to go to popular places and rob people looking for Pokemon.
  8. Man, I had forgotten how boring of a fighter Brock is.

      You misspelled dominating.

      Dominating? spelled L-a-y O-n T-o-p O-f A D-u-d-e?

  9. I'd be interested to keep seeing more stuff come out about how the actual mechanics of the game work, because I'm fairly certain that two different players don't find the same pokemon in the same places. Was sitting on my porch with some friends last night and used an incense to draw pokemon, caught 4-5, but the others around me didn't ever see anything. In other news, I evolved a Pidgeotto into a PIdgeot today, and tried going to the gym on the corner of Lincoln Square in Chicago. I promptly realized that there are people who have not stopped playing this for a single second since it came out because I didn't stand a chance. I wonder if the incense only applies to your account, but the wild pokemon are consistent for various areas.....
  10. Caught a Squirtle from my couch. #FeelsGoodMan
  11. Yes. It asks for 4 different permissions. The only one I allowed was my location. Ok. I know there's a function to see the Pokemon in your camera as you attempt to catch them, but I didn't know if that was necessary or not. Thanks!
  12. Can I play this game without the camera on my phone? It's been malfunctioning and hasn't worked for awhile now.
  13. Well, someone has already fallen off a bridge, but there's a disclaimer right at the beginning of opening the app that reminds people to watch where they are going.
  14. Again, a bit of a misnomer. Cross was the only one who was consistently getting yards; he finished with 18 carries and 5.4 per carry. Jano had some big runs, but he only carried the ball 4 times, while Tommy only averaged 2.7 a carry. The rest of the attempts are filled with Jet Sweeps, and Newby's 2 yards per carry. What can cloud memories are the big runs that occurred. Cross had two to three big carries, as did Tommy. If you take their longs for the game(Cross for 21 and Tommy for 17), Cross ended with 17 carries/77 yards (4.5 per) and Tommy ends with 6 carries and a whopping 2 yards. I don't think I need to calculate the YPC for that one.
  15. I wouldn't say it was a "concerted" effort to run against MSU; it was almost a perfect 50/50 split in terms of run/pass ratio (36/33), with almost double the yards coming through the air (320-179).
  16. I've got a small piece of beachfront property outside of McCook for those who think the UCLA gameplan is feasible for this season.
  17. Not to be a wet blanket, but there's a relatively decent chance that POB never starts for Nebraska.
  18. A lot of that depends on the young O-Line. The success of those outside runs are predicated on setting the edge, blocking the end and getting blocks on the second level.
  19. To me, it comes down to two things: Tommy's right arm, and Tommy's brain. If both perform, and perform well, then we can win 10 games and win the division. If not, then we're looking at another 5 loss season, at least.
  20. Wasn't newby's production ahead of where Ameer (and maybe Rex) were at similar points in their careers? Point being, if he'd been developed and utilized like those two were, maybe he would have been more productive this year. We miss Ron Brown. Burkhead looked ready to take over from Helu. Ameer looked ready to take over from Burkhead. I was never excited about seeing Newby get more carries, based on what he showed under both coaches. He may surprise us this season, or simply join dozens of previous Husker running backs who were merely competent. Ziggy is going to be the one taking that torch.
  21. Is MRI going to get another year? Is he eligible for a medical redshirt?
  22. I am too. Once he caught the Shanks, it was over. I thought he'd be a 10+ year player.
  23. Why is it embarrassing? The Maxwell award list has 90(!) players on it. There's a RB from Appalachian St on it....it's a bit much. Also, congrats to you for being on the Lombardi Award watch list.
  24. Yeah, I agree with this. Ideally, POB can win the #2 spot this year and get a handful of series throughout the season -- as a springboard to winning the job and blossoming as the next great B1G QB. If he can't win the job next season, most likely whoever does is closer to hold down the fort than a superstar, until either POB or Gebbia or whoever else is ready. That's fine too. I loved the Zac Taylor years. And QB is a position where I think stability and sound decisions matter more than raw talent or developing youth. Zac Taylor is one of my favorite Husker QBs of all time. He is seriously undervalued throughout history.
