    I wonder if the Yankees would've overpaid for Cano and Granderson if they realized the best they were going to get was an almost-washed-up Carlos Beltran. Talk about a team with no identity.

      They got Beltran, Ellsburry, McCann... and Cano for 10 years 240 mill is a lot different than 3 years of Beltran, who hit .300 with 24 HRs. Not too bad. The Yankees knew what they'd get if Cano left and they never intended on bringing back Grandy, and I'm not so sure they thought they'd keep Cano either (170 mill? Ha!)

      But 170 also included the interpreter. Bet he didn't think about that. Also, Girardi and Cano didn't like each other. 170 was a public slap. Ahole should have just put Billy Butler in the home run derby 2012.

      Beltran in that stadium could be deadly. Ellsbury was a head scratcher as well as McCann.
