  1. i've been fortunate enough to get to know Milt over the last 10 years through business... He sits on a board of the company I work for. He has always been great around me. My favorite times were when we would be sitting down, drinking a good ol fashioned bush light, and it never failed, at some point in the night he would be finding a pen and a napkin and start drawing up blocking schemes... Awesome.
  2. Glad he was still in the game to do it. Going 0-5 doesn't instill a lot of confidence to make it happen in the 12th inning. I'm thinking he didn't do too shabby for his MLB debut. Game deciding HR but hey what do I know? He hit 2 more home runs today in the third major league game of his career. He's also been solid defensively. I feel pretty confident in him.
  3. First MLB home run for Javy Baez in his first MLB game no less and it was a game winner. Not a bad debut.
  4. 6 walks by the Rockies in the top of the 7th inning. Cubs once down 3-1 now lead 4-3. Rockies on there 4th pitcher of the inning.
  5. I just go back to the last game I saw him play which is the spring game. Tommy's pick was thrown right at the defender and he nearly had another int later on. I don't know. As I've said before I've got a funny feeling we may be seeing Stanton and Fyfe sooner than later.

  7. Everything about this makes pretty good sense except..... Someone want to wxplain to me what the Steelers ever did to New Mexico and Arizona? I thought it was interesting that both of the Dakota's apparently hate the Vikings. Since neither have an NFL team you'd think they actually might be fans since they really aren't too far away geographically. Amazing Photos of Things Cut In Half
  8. People thought Dejon Gomes and Eric Hagg were underrated? Maybe in terms of national awards I guess but anyone who was a Husker fan who halfway watched them play knew they were ballers.
  9. Jay Sims. He played on the same Husker teams as Lawrence Phillips, Ahman Green, Clinton Childs so for the most part he got lost in the fray.
  10. I like it. Pretty cool if you ask me. Could have been much much worse.
  11. I really hope that is not a career ender. I don't think so as gruesome as it was. At least I hope not.
  12. I just saw the replay. Crap. Horrible horrible injury.
  13. Already showing the explosiveness. He's definitely looked explosive. It sounds like Paul George's leg injury is pretty serious. Crap...
  14. USA Bball on tonight. ESPN (8 CST). Rose faces next test with USA game in Las Vegas
  15. I think both he and Stanton are solid back ups who just need experience obviously. He split time with Kellogg and Armstrong last year. I feel like were actually going to get to see these guys even if Armstrong doesn't get injured unless he somehow magically goes lights out and limits the turn overs and looks more consistent which would be cool if it happened. They both looked really good in the spring game for not having any experience to speak of except for Fyfe who got in briefly at South Dakota State last year.
  16. I've been an Imani detractor in the past but after just watching the spring game which he played pretty well in I'm really looking forward to seeing how he does this season.
  17. I didn't even know this was coming out. I liked the Desolation of Smaug.
