  1. Lucky to see this song in person tonight. Another amazing QOTSA concert.
  2. If you compare Nebraska's 2007 offense with Sam Keller and Joe Ganz to the 2012 offense featuring Ameer Abdullah, Taylor Martinez and Kenny Bell... Total offense? Both years were very similar in points per game (33.4 vs 34.8), yards per game (468 vs 460), and first downs per game (24.3 vs 23.6). 2007 had a better passing game (323 ypg vs. 207) while 2012 had the better rushing game (253 ypg vs 174). The true difference? Defensively, 2007 (38ppg/476ypg) was the walking trainwreck compared to '12 (28ppg/360ypg). Cosgrove'd...
  3. Delete ยท Lock 08 May suh_fan93 Some amazing talent still left out there. Such is the NFL draft. Fairly drunk, ponied up go the bar waiting for Off! to take the stage. Queens of the Stone Age tommorrow night. Drinking, smoking, snorting!

  4. the key to a successful season going forward is a dominant defense. if bo can get our defense back to a level we saw in 2009, i think he will win over a lot of goodwill with fans and put up a good, if not great, season. The reality is I doubt we'll see anything like 2009's defense anytime soon. Guys like Suh only come around once in a lifetime not to mention he had Jared Crick lining up next to him back then too. Prince Amukamara. Dejon Gomes. Eric Hagg. Five future NFL players all of whom are still playing. One being a pretty strong potential future HOF candidate.

  6. Talladega and playoff hockey. Hell yes.

  7. Make sure you turn this one up. Loved the band argument scene. Pretty real stuff. Halfway through this. Really liking it.
  8. "tie one for the Gipper"? My grandfather (the one from my HB user name) filled me with a hate for Notre Dame that I still carry to this day, all because Ara P chose to be safe and settle for a tie and the assurance of a National Championship. I realize it is silly for me to carry that hate today, but life is sometimes silly. I fully agreed with the "win the game if you can" call by TO. Don't know that I've ever been so exhausted from just watching a game as that one, it was one heck of a moment. As others have said, that moment kind of defined what Nebraska football was all about for 20+ years to follow. I remember not speaking after watching that pass ricochet off of Jeff Smith's shoulder pads. No yelling. Not even a whisper. The only time I was speechless after a Husker game. I'm still proud of TO for his decision.
  9. Frost. Hands down. Was never afraid to lower his shoulder and give the defender some.
  10. I was just thinking after watching the '94 Orange Bowl on youtube recently that if Byron Bennett hit that 45 yd fg that would have been another National Championship for TO and the Huskers. If only Alex Henery played in 94.
