  1. Nexus is (Half man + Half Robot = All Husker)
  2. My Tattoo (only half done, Back flags will be american flags) Crappy pic looks better in person
  3. I've heard this argument so many times from so many different fan bases: "we lost our stars but now they can't just focus on one guy - so we'll be better!" I can't think of a SINGLE instance where it was true. Do you know of a case where it has been true? I'd love to check it out if you do. Is it possible that there will be no dropoff? Sure. Is it likely? Doubtful. It's springtime . . . when the koolaid flows like wine and the women flock like the salmon of Capistrano. Still looking for the link but just saw an article a while back about teams that have done better after losing Heisman winners. Why is it you think there will be so much drop off? Our likely starters all have plenty of game time. That means last year we still had good D even when Suh did step off the field. He and the other seniors we lost were great but not the whole team. So sit down and have a glass with me. edit: 1st link I'll keep going 2010 compared to 94
  4. I understand we won't have Big Suh but, I think people are seriously over looking Crick and who ever else. Excellence breeds excellence. If you think that Crick and boys didn't pick up every little bit of info. they could get off Suh your crazy. I look for some drop off in sacks because not just anyone can do what he did but, I wouldn't count our D-line out. I still foresee us running in a 4 front most of the time. As for safety I agree the biggest dropoff you will see will be in the first 3-4 games. I remember the beginning of last year we weren't real solid again the passing game either. Overall I think we will be better on D This year the talent is more spread out.
  5. I see they have Dontrayevous Robinson marked as IB as well on the roster
  6. I have to say this move is one of the things I am most excited to hear. McNeil was under used last year. The one guy on the team if you get the ball close to him you know he will bring it in. Yes he isn't the typical Receiver build but since when has that mattered to the huskers. Perhaps it is not going to take until half way through the season to determine the best way to use people this year.
  7. I'm starting to think Nexus is part robot. Great find
  8. Ben is my Doctors Nephew I shall ask him if he knows next I see him.
  9. I'd say that Gomes more than proved himself last season. The pick at Mizzou that setup a score, the strip against KU to save a Kerry Meier TD and even on a bigger stage, the Big XII CCG, he intercepted a pass that set us up for what should have been the go ahead score. Gomes is a ball player. True that, that pick against Texas was unreal. Absolutely. One of the most amazing interceptions I've seen from a Nebraska DB in years. My point to that is I see flashes of greatness but will he become that guy QBs and WR fear. Just as the other 2 on my list we saw flashes of a great QB out of Lee and flashes of a great DT from Crick. Now it's time to prove that it wasn't a fluke.
  10. 1) Zac Lee - If his injury was the only thing keeping him from the play we saw against Sun Belt and Arizona prove it. 2) Crick - Can he handle the pressure of being the one double teamed 3) Gomes - are you good or great
  11. Thanks Nexus! The more I hear about the Leadership and attitudes the guys have this year the more excited I get. Sounds like Bo has finally got his work ethic ingrained into the program.
  12. It really comes down to offseason blabber. That is the only way anyone could argue about this. Even IF and that's a big if McCoy has the first step on Suh what will he do with that first step. Suh has proven time and time again that even if he could get into the O-line sometimes it is the best to hold back and play the wait game. Look at how many batted passes he is responsible for. The guy isn't special b/c he the biggest or the fastest. He IS the best b/c of his head and dedication to be the best. I think the only thing that would stop him from getting #1 is the same thing that stopped him from getting the Heisman. They may be afraid to put the big pay check in the hands of a lineman instead of a skill player.
  13. I'm all for team-building and whatnot, but this is a tad ridiculous. I hope they don't really make Cody do that, because that's a lot of time and energy wasted that could be used to actually helping Cody become a better player. He's in college, and he's going to prefer to be around girls instead of his teammates whether Joe Ganz likes it or not. I'm from a different school I guess. I would be making Green room up with Paul to create a better bond even. During Spring They had better be helping him keep focused. ( this is just IMO ----->) He seems like he is pretty fond of the ladies so if sniffing tail is his distraction then it is more than fair. He has time for that stuff later in the season. He is getting a free education so I would think a little temp. social sacrifice has been paid for. Huh???? Just Kidding Hey if that would mean the MNC I'm all for it lmao. Might even help Paul hold on to the balls this year. aaaaaaaaaand rim shot
  14. Great read! I'm glad to hear about the leadership coming out. Great players pass on great things to the younger guys. Our regime is once again rolling the right way. The story I want to hear next is an offensive Fatty taking charge up front. We need the killer attitude on the O line to start coming out. Oh boy, I got the husker twitch they really need to make an off season kool-aid patch.
  15. Just got told about some of the feedback. LOL you guys are crazy
  16. I e-mail daily my opinion counts too.

  18. Or ( I can't believe it's not "running" spread ) 0 trans fats BTW
  19. uuuummmmm yeah Huskermax.com doesn't work uuuuummmmm yeah
  20. Joe G. being in the program is going to do nothing but help. I loved that they make Cody do pencil roles if he sits by girls instead of his teammates lol. Joe G. has a great mind for what Shawn's system means for a QB. If even half of that gets passed down to our QBs we could have some monsters in the stable.
  21. So E-mail! I don't know about you guys but the sooner they have Suh stuff the better for me. I wouldn't care if it was a pink Suh sports bra I would buy it.
  22. I just emailed "MORE SUH STUFF". That's all. Thanks man the more the better. I've seen it happen before when Special products get launched because of demand.
  23. Ok, so I got clearance to be able to do this from work. Nike uses feedback to gage what products to make received from Athletes and Consumers. The more we BIG RED tell them we want Suh stuff the more likely they are to create them. If you like the "House of Spears" shoes that he had made tell them you want them available to the public. Or whatever feedback you have for them. I would love to flood the house with Suh love and let them know we want to buy these products. Here are the E-mail, Live Chat, and Telephone contacts. Nike contacts! P.S. I will hear about the contacts we get in. lol
  24. You two neighbors? LMAO!!!!! Great catch
