  1. Cody is NOT the answer to all the problems on this offense. Anyone that thinks just by bringing Cody in all our problems will be miraculously solved needs to open their eyes and watch the games and see where the breakdowns really are.. So, quit talking about a spark by bring in Cody, you are wasting your breath. If Cody was ready to take over, I am sure he would have already been the "man". Weren't people saying the same thing about another quarter back oh lets say 17 years ago.. I think his name was Tommie. Cody can not solve the offensive woes, but why burn the kid's red shirt only to not play him. I may not be a Division I Coach, but its not rocket science that you should get the kid some quality snaps. You can argue that Green doesn't deserve quality snaps, but what has Zac Lee done to deserve those snaps over him? Maybe I have been watching a different Husker team the last 5 weeks. I would rather have a piss poor season offensively this year and get Green the experience of managing the game than to give it to a 3rd string Juco transfer. The only answer I can give you is practice. Bo seems to be pretty open about who starts. The one who starts is the one who shines in practice. If you want a freshman QB take a look at Tate Forcier. Perfect example of freshman QB. Some really great plays and then 10-30 against PSU yesterday. This is what Green will do. At this point in the season with where we are, I'll take it. At the very least it will be fun to watch him play. What do we have to lose anymore people after 2 straight home losses? We can only gain by letting Green get experience.
  2. It's that simple. For some people on this board it would be the biggest mistake we ever made to let Green start over Lee who is taking us nowhere. Since when are we satisfied with playing mediocre ball?
  3. It's absolutely amazing. Down by 2 when we have Alex Henery and we can't even get in field goal position!
  4. Another fumble. It's all Lee's fault. You're just making yourself look bad now man. Give it a rest.
  5. Dude that was overthrown. Are you kidding me? A comeback route that is way above the guys head and no blame for the Qb? Dude, learn the game and get a clue. let people express their opinions. Even if they are wrong? Except on that one you were wrong. It was a bad throw. Thank you.
  6. Dude that was overthrown. Are you kidding me? A comeback route that is way above the guys head and no blame for the Qb? Dude, learn the game and get a clue. The fact that you can't admit that was a very poorly thrown ball is beyone me. Whatever man.

  8. Short field for Lee. Lets see if he can manage anything here.
  9. So what about the timing throw to Kinnie early in the game he rifled in? Or the deep throw to Niles he put on the money? Or the throw he led McNeil with to get us inside the 10? See, the thing is, you expect Lee to be perfect. But here's the thing, no QB hits every single throw. Um, did you see how many bad throws Cody made last week? Guy was incredibly lucky to get out of that game with only 1 INT. Could have easily been 3 INTs if not for drops by the DBs for Tech. Guy was awful throwing the ball. But people only remember a garbage time TD and think that overshadowed everything else. If you want to see a determined QB with big play abilities put in Green. Lee is playing slow motion football in a crucial time to step up.
  10. Why? Lee is playng really well. He is not the one dropping the balls. Lee is only buying time. He has thrown some bad balls today. I really hope Green starts the 2nd half or we may not score again in this game offensively because Lee can't sustain a drive. Besides the pass to McNeill early, the one to Gilly and the pass to that invisible guy on that last drive, what passes are you referring to? Dude has been pretty on today, but it seems like you remember the bad ones besides the good throws he has made today. Zac is 14-22 for 181, and we have 250 yards of total offense. We have been fine on offense, besides the fact we have become mental midgets and had terrible luck. He has underthrown, missed, and put the ball in the wrong spot several times. His pass to McNeill that led to an int. Also missed him wide open earlier in the game. I'm just not going to let one good pass to Paul let me forget that most of his passes today are behind the line or short to his WR with them making the catch and run. He does not have the confidence and drive to let us score on a regular basis and is clearly not the guy that will give us a big 12 title.
  11. He had a 4 yard gain... Sorry, could have had alot more, play with some balls. There was hardly a defender close to him. I saw the same thing. He could have ran up 4 more yards to where a defender was being blocked.

  13. I'm getting so impatient watching Zac Lee play. It's like he has no sense of urgency or pressure. He's got to start hitting the open man. Does anyone else hate the designed QB runs for Lee? They don't seem to do anything besides get 3 or less yards.
  14. Our defense was not very good.
  15. I actually took off my Lee jersey and he had a much better 2nd half.
  16. I can't believe Crab acted like such a tool this whole time about the deal. It woudn't surprise me if he waited to see if the Niners were going to be a decent team before he decided to sign instead of re-enter next years draft. Good luck making friends in the locker room! Link
  17. Nebraska - 34 Missouri - 27 Pass Yards - 258 Rush Yards - 217
  18. Not one that has been discussed a month ago. Nice try though.
  19. I like watching the show just for the fight and to see who Mayhem brings on the show to fight. It seems very scripted and setup though as far as the dialogue. MTV tends to turn all shows like that eventually.
  20. 8 for 255, 31.9 yards per reception. Pretty impressive, even if it does equal to 2 catches a game. Two big plays a game does a lot for us, but does anyone see him emerging and taking a starting spot or is he just the occasional big play guy? Obviously, his avg yards per catch will go down over time with more receptions, but with his speed and hands that he developed, I hope we can get him more involved in games down the road this season.
  21. I feel bad for Ricky, that sucks bad! I think he will be missed on special teams for sure this season. Always wanted to see him succeed.
  22. Thats BS. Fedor is too much of a punk to not even sign with the UFC. Continues to put it off, it may never happen now. Lesnar would ground and pound him easy.
  23. Good post, but I refuse to call VT a good team. We exposed them, but didn't finish. I can't stand watching Tyrod Taylor play, it makes me want to puke.
