  1. I don't think there are auto-subs. The only subs I know about are formation subs and the mass subs. When I'm destroying the other team I normally sub in my entire second team to give them some gameday experience. Against some of the weaker teams I play I uslay split the time at RB between Ross, Lucky and one of them usualy still gets over the century.
  2. Seppo is acctualy leading my team in pancakes. Mu problem seems to be convincing Nunn to acctualy catch a football. Herian and Hardy are my leading receivers now, but I always tend to run my TEs and Y recievers ragged.
  3. The Bermuda Triangle as well!
  4. Amen! But you can walk-on to any school you'd like. From what I've read if you do poorly and try to walk onto Tenn then you'll get rejected, but if you do well nothing's stopping you from being a Husker. Also, After playing RFTH for a bit I'm not sure I like it much. You don't get to recruit or even change the depth charts outside of the game. It's basically all about pumping up the stats of your one player and the Husker in me just doesn't like that. I'm gonna stick to the great Dynasty mode and give this WCO attack a shot.
  5. Now, don't get me wrong, I hate CU. I hate Boulder, I hate Folsom Field, and I hate their fans. But I've got to give them some more credit than that. I don't see them losing to Kansas or A&M, I think they'll be 4-6 by the time we roll in. And, though we should demolish them anywhere, you always have to take the altitude here in Colorado under consideration. Sometimes a team from out of state handles it fine and tramples all over the home team, but just as often it hits 'em like a brick at half-time and they fall apart. That's going to be Nebraska's game to lose, but it's not going to be real hard to lose it.
  6. The ratings overall seem to be a whole lot better for the Huskers this year than last. I have yet to play them against a good team on a reasonable difficulty yet, though. I've still got mine on varsity for some reason.
  7. I got it at about 1:00 from my local 24-hour Super K-mart. After renaming all the players on the Nebraska and CSU rosters I've only had a chance to completely destroy Maine and get a 35-0 half in on Pitt. Awesome game so far. Btw, My player is a scrambler. Hello option!
  8. I just got the game and this list made it really easy to fill in the names on the roster. I tried doing it with the roster from huskers.com first but it seems to be pretty out of date right now.
  9. I've got to say Rimington as well. 290 pounds and a 5.05 40. That guy was a beast. Steinkuhler would also be great. The first time I read he had a 4.75 40 I nearly choked.
  10. I can't help but think how cool it would have been had they taken that picture on a Saturday. Would have been a whole lot easier to find as well .
  11. Alright, I've got another, more general question. If there isn't a strong side on the offense, i.e. they're playing a Maryland I, where does Sam play? I assume he'd play the short side of the field, but once again that's just a guess.
  12. I've been wondering about that for years, thank ya kindly.
  13. I figured this might be a good place to have an old question of mine answered. Whenever I look for plays and such online for college football I see a lot of the linebackers called Will, Mike and Sam. As far as I can tell, Sam is the Strong LB, Will is the Weak LB, and Mike is the MLB. Is that right, or did I completely miss something?
  14. I don't get too many chances to compare my Huskers with my Broncos but I definately can here. The Broncos ran a pure WCO when we won our Back to Back. We had running backs up the damn wazoo and 3 of the best possession recievers to play in the last decade (Smith, McCaffrey, Sharpe). After our championships we've lost McCaffrey, Sharpe, and our consistency at RB and we've been slipping. The WCO won't rely on speed, it will succeed if we complete our passes and have a consistent, if not dominating, running game.
  15. Hardly any of the satellite photos in Google Earth are very up to date. They have to use the most recent satellite photos that exist for that location and those aren't always anywhere near new. The one for my house is at least 5 years old.
  16. I'm a little dissapointed with the 45 rating on awareness. 74 is a pretty good rating for a rookie in Madden, but giving the guy a 45? That's just doesn't seem honest to me.
  17. I'm with ya Toad, one of the best shows on Television.
  18. As long as they're willing to accept the loss, it's good with me.
  19. As a Coloradan, and therefore a Broncos fan, I can't help but be somewhat disturbed by the connection Nebraska has to the Raiders. Not only do we have their old coach but it seems they pick up a huge number of our draft picks. Now, I love the Huskers, but I loathe the Raiders and everytime Draft Day rolls around I get sick to my stomach when I hear a Husker is now a Raider. Just wanted to get that off my chest.
  20. I expect Dyches to start the way Deangelis played last year, but I wouldn't be disappointed at all if Congdon got it.
  21. Personally, I'm really excited to see this guy play. And even if these are unsupervised passing drills, I'm excited to hear he's picking it up. That's something I never thought that Dailey did.
  22. I'm with Eric, those two caused me physical pain.
  23. 1) How long have you been a member of Husker Nation? 20 years, all my life. 2) What/who led you to The Nation? My father was a Nebraskan and a die-hard fan. Greeley, CO I moved a whole 15 miles! 5) Favorite Husker memory? Penn State at Memorial in 2003. Not a very important game, but it was just me and my dad in a hotel bar in Boulder, CO. We pissed a whole lotta people off that night. 6) Worst Husker memory? A Nebraska sweatshirt my dad gave me when I left home and a game-worn Adam Treu jersey I wear on game days. 10) Favorite place to watch a Husker game?
