WR Coach Keith Williams Arrested on Suspicion of DUI
kchusker_chris replied to ADS's topic in Husker Football
Anyone notice this piece... I'm leaning towards him drinking till midnight - having a few glasses of water over the last couple hours and thinking he was fine...just completely underestimating his BAC. NO ONE is dumb enough to call the cops for a simple bump if they thought they were above the legal limit. They were called because of his decision. Seems odd - doesn't seem like a case where a guy went out, got drunk, chugged his final beer on his way out of the bar then got behind the wheel. -
Tanner Farmer Trash Talking About Oregon
kchusker_chris replied to Ric Flair's topic in Husker Football
We don't know the while context of the conversation. Also, if we lose to either of those, we should just shut it all down. -
^ He looks less than thrilled w/ the coaches in that first 60 seconds. Kind of like, leave me the f' alone...

someone posted boobs!!! - (here we go again...) I'd like to see the parking lot just outside east stadium covered and turned into an outdoor tailgate area. Think something like the roof that covers Kansas City Power & Light.... -
bumped us to #14

You jump at any chance to call me out in regards to this subject. You were quick to do so in this case, you've always been the first to do so in prior cases, as is evident by your prior comment that I've been "crying" for years about this. It's obviously one of the many sticks up your ass...and since you were a mod prior, if you need dates of a couple of other occasions I don't have to look any further than the 2 warnings to my name for examples of when you've formed a problem with me over it. (actually I think one of those warning was Wifi related...wonder what happened to that guy - oh hey, it's cm husker)

Glad it didn't come to that. Wouldn't go over too well in NE. -

By my count, we're at 84 right now (assuming all the new guys qualify). wow, wouldn't have thought that. good thing a few of these guys are packing their things then - we'd be scrambling Alabama style. -

might thoughts too. i always bitched about Bo going into fall in the upper 70's because of undersigning - Riley is going into fall in the upper 70's for a bunch of other reasons...some of which might be more preventable than missing late on a few recruits. Going to make what was already going to be a larger class hard to manage in 3-4 years as well. Rather not see us have the room to sign 28, going to make things lopsided. -
i don't have any issue w/ you removing the pic at all. i just made a comment that the pic is probably the least of the person's worries if caught on huskerboard at work where most companies ban the usage of sites such as HB....then proceeded to basically get called a liar as if the vast majority of companies don't prohibit this sort of use. follow that up with the typical "i am a MOD" or in this case "i was a MOD and I know more than you" response which is all to common, though honestly much more limited in the last 4-6 months (not by coincidence). anyways...carry on.

Likewise? The problem is, your anecdotal evidence doesn't matter because you can look at those images all day, just somewhere else. The anecdotal evidence that matters here is the 1 person who gets in trouble or worse for accidentally having an inappropriate photo wind up on their monitor while the wrong person is walking by. I sometimes use my work computer while on lunch break. Never for Huskerboard because we have security requirements that prevent it, but I'm sure lots of people have jobs here that don't mind it being used for that during a break. you say my "anecdotal" evidence of working for multiple companies that have rules prohibiting the use of social media and forums like Huskerboard doesn't matter...by stating your company also has security requirements preventing it... -- where you going with this one? and I agree, lots of people probably do have jobs where they don't mind if their employees sit on forums all day. they're called government/state employees (and whoever employs cm husker - probably city gov.).

Any boss not OK w/ that - is not OK w/ their employee being on Huskerboard first and foremost. At that point, the image is the least of that person's issues. This isn't remotely true. you're absolutely correct - because every place I've ever worked at has pushed social media usage and participation in public forums as completely acceptable uses of company time/equipment. (do I even need to include the sarcasm icon)?

we've offered something like 250 players already including ~60% of the top 300 - odds are other top programs are going to be offering them as well. let's not act like Nebraska is "discovering" all this talent and people are riding our coat tails lol...this kid has around 20 offers. he isn't "under the radar"

He's a 2016 guy. Someone tweet the preferred walk on coordinator; we have got ourselves a project! exactly, said he didn't need a scholly - would pay his own way. talk about a great walk-on story. sounds like a midwestern type of kid too. i'd like to see it happen, nothing to lose really.
