Munson tried to reach him last night and the person who answered said he had the wrong number. They haven’t been able to make contact with him in quite a while. All they know is he is not signing today however he will be kept on the commit list with an outside chance he makes it. Doesn’t look good at the moment though.

Well on a positive this will leave us with a few scholarships to go get some ,hopefully, instant impacts on the grad transfer market. Also, if I am being completely honest, I am glad he went to Kansas. Like a few others mentioned I think this kid either needed to stay home or go somewhere where he already has a solid relationship. I’ll be keeping an eye on how Kansas does under Les.

Javontae Jean Baptiste. If I remember right he called Frost on signing day committing and then signed with Ohio State a few hours later.

You must not follow recruiting that closely than. Guys are torn between schools right up to their decision all the time. Look at JBB just last year.

Clouse was told a decision will come around/after 3 pm. He has no idea where he is going and the vibe he is getting is nobody has any idea where he will end up. He is not even sure if Parker knows where he is going at this time.

Only thing I can think of is he isn’t able to make a decision. I don’t think anyone has a good feel on where he will end up.

Said he is going to try and announce today. Texas Tech, Nebraska and Kansas.

I mean Larry directly told Clouse they were coming tomorrow. I would believe that also. Larry has not responded to him regarding what happened.

Clouse posted an update at 9:45 this morning that there were some logistical issues that popped up but they are planning on making it work. Haven’t seen anything further at this time.

I would think so. Earlier this week we were thinking we would take Houston, Bivens and possibly Parker so I would think we would have room. Still skeptical on Parker though.

Interesting note from Callahan this morning. He said don’t be surprised if Houston is our only new signee next Wednesday and the absolute most will be two. Sounds like Bivens is out. Edit: Asante news throws a wrench in this. I like him more than Parker. Hope we land him.

Callahan has been hearing great things about Jurgens and thinks if he stays healthy he will be probably start at C.

Bivens is just waiting on the coaches to let him commit. I haven’t seen a date for Houston to commit yet. Parker is visiting KU this weekend so he won’t commit until next week.

Noa would have nobody to blame about that other than Matthew. His grades is what turned everyone off.

I don’t have a very good feeling with him. From what I’ve read he isnt really enjoying the recruiting process. I have a feeling he stays closer to home at Tech or goes to Kansas where he has a relationship. Hope I’m wrong.

He should be given the green light to commit soon. We will have room as the only other guy I see us getting is Houston.
