Clouse has actually been pretty spot on this cycle. I know he was all in on Darnay and some other guys the last few classes but I think he has pulled the reigns back a bit.

According to Clouse it does not sound likely Cager will end up here. Apparently we only have one open spot for a graduate transfer and that won't happen until after spring practice and they determine what their greatest need is.

Update today on RSS said that Dewitt's name has come up for K State Defensive Coordinator. He was the D coordinator at Northern Iowa in 2009 and 2010.

I also question how much USC actually wants him. We are 3 weeks out from signing day and he hasn’t even talked to the D line coach who was hired a month ago? Seems odd

This is correct. K state rivals guy told the HOL guys and then they reported it over on RSS. They haven't addressed this yet this morning but I'm sure they are working on getting more information. Edit: my read on this is some information may have been spread about him that was not entirely true and the staff is doing their own due diligence and continuing to look into the situation. No clue what the red flag was that popped up though.

We are still in the mix and he is supposed to visit on 1/25.

Washut had a few interesting tidbits regardinjng Miles today during the RSS live chat. Someone asked if Miles will be the Coach next year and Washut said it depends on if Moos gives him a multi-year deal. He doesn’t think Miles will stick around for another one year prove it deal. The most interesting part was someone asked about the relationship between miles and moos. Washut “lets just say they haven’t gone out for beers yet, and probably won’t anytime soon.”

He did an interview with USC's Rivals site. He claimed that he just made his final decision on Sunday night and he has not informed the coaches on where he is going. He said he plans to do that on Friday. He also said Florida, Oklahoma and Ohio State all made late runs at him but he said it was too late. He said he considered a visit to Oklahoma as their commits were in his ear all week at the All American Bowl.
