He lives in Kansas so distance is not an issue. I bet we will take 4-5 O-Linemen this next year and that all of them will be great talent.

I am assuming Aaron Green is our #1 preference going into the season, and then would the Trinity guy or this guy or Reed from Kansas or someone else come second? And do we take a 3rd? In 2009 NU signed 3 backs (1 ended up being a fullback) and if Okafour leaves along with some of the others who are way too behind to start... do we fill up all those spots and more at that position?

I hope that Green really works in the offseason and improves drastically. The kid has to toughen up. He's got to be able to say the playbook instantly in his head forwards and backwards. He's got to learn not to stare down his receivers. He's got to learn timing with his receivers as well as improve on his deep ball. He did a lot of things really well for a true freshman last year. We know he can scramble, we know he can throw hard and far, we know he throws bullets for slant passes. But can he run fakes well? Can he throw accurate passes with defenders breathing down his neck? Can he better adjust to the speed and pressure of the game? These are the things I want answered between now and fall.

Get Brion Carnes and Tyler Moore in his ear. Heck throw in Latravis Washington and Antonio Bell too... they need to all show up at this kids door over spring break and show him NU has fun!!! : )

UT won't offer him. They always sign to top rivals guys. Malcom will be their #1 guy because he's got the big size and they have had a lot of success with the big backs in their system (Reggi Williams, Cedric Benson, etc.)

Let Mizzou take the slow pocket passers who stand in place and throw. It's better for us if they are loaded with those guys... because when our Defensive line comes around the corner he won't be able to outrun them. 4.7speed Defensive Ends vs. 4.8speed QB's sounds great to me.

Last year Texas offered most of their junior day guests on the spot. I think something like 28/30 accepted offers almost immediately. There is a good chance he will be committed to Texas before May.

Turner is a stud.

He was going to come to Nebraska but had some issues transferring in his grades (due to military or overseas or something of that regard) So he moved from Nevada to Kansas SPECIFICALLY so that he can transfer into Nebraska next fall. The kid is a beast. The only way he is not coming here is if our coaching staff abandons him, and I REALLY don't see them doing that with his athleticism and commitment to Nebraska.

Texas always offers the best RB in texas... they go by the star ratings because it makes them look better. So They are going to give Malcolm Brown, Brandon Williams, and Herschel Simms offers before they give Aaron Green an offer. Whatever players get the most hype out of rivals will be who Texas offers. My guess is that they will get Malcolm Brown and Brandon Williams, they will lose Herschel Simms to OU (I live in Abilene where he is from and word around town is he loves OU and has since last September). I see Aaron Green heading to Nebraska because his brother is there, we have Ron Brown and Tim Beck along with a strong FCA program, a family atmosphere, team environment (which he loves, he's not an individual player) and we run a lot of plays with our running backs, where as Texas utilizes receivers more. I know Texas though... they will get greedy and come in and try to get Aaron Green late if one of their top 2 falls out. Guarantee it. And they are smooth talkers so they might just say the "right things" not necessairly the honest things, to get Aaron to end up at UT (since I don't anticipate him committing until after Christmas sometime).

Have you seen this guys ability to find open receivers as he scrambles out of the pocket while he is on the run? He also makes decisions fast (something Lee lacked last semester) and because of his speed and ability to change directions quickly defenses will have to load the box to eliminate all the weapons we have back there... leaving tons of WR open and Carnes with the space he needs to run out of the pocket and execute a pass on the fly. BAM TOUCHDOWN!!! Just like Ganz did last year.

This kid is a Juco... everything is hush hush on him so at this point he could end up anywhere, although there are some whispers that he isn't going to make his grades.

This is ridiculous. You know that kid's dad is making the decision for him. Heck at age 13 his dad is sending him all over the country to camps and uses language like "we're super excited to meet Lane Kiffin" and "We're committed to USC, it's the best school in the country"... it's not about the kid at all, it's about his father brainwashing him.
